anyone have a maytag neptune washer

I have had mine for approx 2mos.

If anyone has one, have you had a problem with the settings. Sometimes I can't get it to go on at all or I have to just keep pushing buttons until it decides to go on. I have unplugged it in hopes of resetting the computer & nothing helps. I did have the repairman scheduled however it seemed to have corrected itself. well now it's doing it again.

I have had mine for 3 years, and have never had a bit of trouble. I suspect you need service. I hope you are under warantee

My DD has had hers for 1 1/2 years now with no problems She loves it. Although, her friend has had many problems with hers. Hope yours can be fixed right.

We have the set and love them. Never had a problem, I would definitely call for service...sounds like you got a lemon.

I will be calling for service since we have only had the washer for 2 months. Hopefully, it is something simple.

Another Neptune family here, for about 3 or so years, no problems. I am sure it will be fixed fine, beccab.

I have had mine two years and have had two repairs so far.

The first time, the washer wouldn't stop. I had to flip the circuit breaker to get the thing to quit. It turned out to be a faulty computer board. This was covered by the warranty.

A few months ago I heard a loud pop during a wash cycle. The machine stopped and I had water logged laundry. The machine wouldn't turn back on. Again, it was a computer board that blew. This time I bought an extended warranty. The repair alone would have been hundreds of dollars, with labor.

We've got the neptune washer and dryer here on the farm....for almost 2 years now....no problems with the machines....I'd have to agree with others...perhaps yer need to call the lonely guy.....
