Anyone have a macbook pro??? Help this computer dummie.

I have a regular MacBook and I love it!

If she holds off until summer to buy one, they might be doing that promo where you buy a computer get a free iPod Touch. You can then sell the iPod and offset the cost of the computer (that's what I did). Also, Apple is due a new OS (Lion) in the near future. Might be a good idea to wait just a little while, then pounce.

After doing some research yesterday this was what I told her aswell.

DITTO!! I was a PowerMac User in the 90s because I did a lot of graphic design and spent a fortune on that computer but I spent more time on the tech issues...swore I'd never buy another Mac because of it and switched back to PC.

Then my SIL got the MacBook about 4 yrs ago and told me she loved it and had no problems. So, I took my chance and bought a MB PRO and I absolutely love it, would NEVER switch back to PC!! I even run Windows (XP) on it when I need it to be compatible with work stuff, etc but I use that very seldom anymore. Great for a student or for business!! Highly Recommend it!!

I am a college student and I love my mac

It fits all my needs, plus it's pretty fast and yeah, they usually do a buy a mac get an ipod touch free over the summer. (that's what I did )
