Anyone have a Linksys Wireless Network? Help! (and vent)

Does anyone have a wireless network set up at home? I had been having problems, accidentally reset it, now can't get it to work. I was on the phone yesterday for 4 HOURS with Linksys - 3 different people - all of them made me do the same stuff and didn't help. One actually said she was going to transfer me and a half hour later, I just called back. When I originally set up the network I had issues but found the most helpful person the one time I called and he fixed it, so I know theres some setting thats wrong.

Anyway, I have two computers, both have wireless adapters, and have the router, and modem for DSL. We got the wireless 'network' setup, have our network name, have encryption, have the computers connecting to the network. What doesn't work, it getting to the internet. I can't ping anything or get to any website. When I'm directly connected to the modem/DSL (like now), it works so I know its the network setup. Can anyone help me? I'm hoping someone here will know so I don't have to sit on the phone with those people again! Thanks.

I tried to but my direcway internet uses usb instead of the nic for transfer so I couldn't use it anymore, just sold it and bought some movies with the money lol

yes we do, but dh is in charge of it, not me.
