You could try getting an Entertainment Card discount. They offer up to 50% off rack rates but you have to call the hotel directly and each hotel only sets a few rooms aside for Entertainment discounts. You don't have to have the Entertainment Card when you make your ressie but you will need to show it at check in. Most books cost between $25-$40 for the year 2005.
I'll try that. I have to go look for my book now. I don't know where I put it. On the Entertainment book web site it isn't any cheaper than the Best Western Web site. They do have a space for promotional code so I thought maybe someone out there knew a code.
I've been looking for my Entertainment book too, and finally found it tonight. Anyway, I looked through it and I don't see any kind of discount code anywhere. Only the phone number to call for reservations is listed. Sorry.
I am pretty sure but not positive but I think you can get discounts for best western if you have AAA. that is where I am planning on staying also. you might want to call them and ask if they offer AAA discounts if they do and you don't have it , it cost $60 to sign up for a year with AAA and everyone that drives really needs to have AAA anyways. I think it is well worth the $60 yearly fee.
innocencelost003- I found a way to get a cheaper rate than at bestwestrn.com. Go directly to the website for the hotel. It's http://www.parkplaceinnandminisuites.com/ My reservation was $6 cheaper on 3 of the 5 nights than on the best Western Website. Thanks to someone on this board who posted all the websites. Do a search under Park Place Inn you'll see her post. The rate was even better than the AAA rate. In fact if you can get the Manager's special on the Best Western Web site that may be just as good. We wanted a mini suite so had to go with the other website. By the way anyone know if there's a washer and dryer on property. I'm coming in from San Fran for a week and sure will need to do laundry.
Sorry guys this is for the Best Western Park Place Inn in L.A. right across from Disneyland. Didn't realize I was responding to my post on the budget board and not on the Disneyland board. Anyway, if you can somehow get the direct website for the particular hotel you're staying at it may be chaper as in my case. So sorry it's in L.A. though.
