Anyone have a Britax B-Agile stroller?

I have been wanting a new stroller for DS (14 months) to use for walks and some jogging. I had been set on a Citi Mini, but just hadn't been able to bring myself to actually buy it yet, plus a lot of the 2011 strollers on sale on albee are gone. Then when reading a trip report, the author mentioned the Britax B-Agile. From the reviews I've read it's very similar to the Citi Mini, but with a few improvements. The cost is about the same depending on color. Does anyone have any experience with this stroller?

Thanks! :thumbsup2

We have a B-Agile and absolutely love it! It's our fourth stroller - for one child so far, but it will be the only stroller we need if/when No. 2 comes along. The maneuverability and sunshade are amazing. The basket could be a bit bigger, but it's fine; we have a diaper bag that hangs from the handle anyway.

It isn't a jogging stroller, though, so if that's what you're looking for I would keep looking.

Let me know if you have specific questions.

You can view baby gizmo's review of it on you tube. She has never let me down.m if you want to do some jogging have you considered a BOB? They are a little pricey but a fantastic stroller.

I don't have one, but there is a youtube video of someone giving a comparison review of the Britax and the City Mini, side by side. I believe it is the 2012 model, though. just google "britax vs city mini youtube". You should be able to find it pretty easily. There's also one comparing 2011 and 2012 model City Mini's (which led me to get the 2012 instead). Also, if you ARE interested in the City Mini, I just bought a 2012 from justkidsstore.com for $212 shipped w/ a 15% off code (bump15). It came very quickly! Got it in last week and love it! We got the purple/gray, and it is very pretty! I was afraid that it would be a girly purple, but it is not! it's a deep plum color, and I would say is safe for either boy or girl. Even my husband (who was against getting the purple) said he actually likes it.

I have the B ready and I love it!!! I just got it a couple weeks ago and have been using it for DS (3 yrs old) and it's so easy to push with him in it, even though he's a big boy for his age. I'm due with DS #2 is a few weeks and can't wait to try it with both of them in it.
Anyway, I know you asked about the B agile and I think they are both pretty similar (except B ready can hold 2 kids).

We have the B-Agile & love it!! I also bought the accessories for it (uv/bug cover, rain cover, & storage thingy).

We recently bought one for our WDW trip in Nov. Our big stroller wasn't practical to take on the busses and our other smaller stroller probably couldn't handle such a workload as 9 days in the parks. When considering the cost of renting for 9-10 days, buying a premium "in-between" stroller seemed like the right call. We looked at the same 2 as you and tried them both out at a local store. Amazon had the B Agile for $189. It folds so easy and it lightweight. It maneuvers nicely. I've used it in crowds a few times already and think it was money well spent.

It was actually your TR I was reading to hear about the b agile! How funny! :rotfl2: great report btw! Right now I'm jogging with DS in an Eddie baur stroller that was part of a travel system, so I'm thinking that even if the b agile isn't technically a jogging stroller, it would still be a big improvement. And I really only jog oiutside once a week or so, depending on the weather. :)

Thanks, I will check that out. I think a BOB is a little more than I want to spend, but I'll check it out. Thanks! :thumbsup2

Thanks for the website and discount code, I'll check that out too! :thumbsup2

The single stroller can hold 2? If so that would make it an even better choice since we're planning on trying for a girl sometime soon. Thanks and good luck with your new addition! :goodvibes

Wow, you're ready for anything! :rotfl: I do wish it came with a cup holder and console though.

Glad to hear you like yours! Thanks for the feedback! :goodvibes

It's an awesome stroller. A bit expensive but I think so worth the money! They had a free ride event a while back, don't know if they'll do it again soon.
If you go to the Britax website they have pictures of all the different configurations that the stroller can do (there's 14!) The main reason I fell in love with this particular stroller is that my DS is at the point where he wants to walk most of the time but I need him in the stroller sometimes otherwise he is everywhere. I didn't really want a sit and stand but wanted something that he could actually sit in or nap in if he got tired. The B ready can be a single or a double. He fits good in the front seat for now and the second seat holds up to 35 lbs but honestly, my 40 lb DS can fit in it comfortably. The only complaint I have is it's a little wierd to open but it's been getting easier every time I use it. It is a little bulky too but I think thats to be expected with a double stroller.

Oh, how funny! Thanks for the compliment on my TR. :goodvibes

I think it does have a locking front wheel, so you can use it for some light jogging - I just wouldn't do any hardcore running with it.

BTW, we bought this stroller organizer for me and DH to use. For DS, we have a strap that tethers to his sippy cup/snack cup, so if he drops it it doesn't trail on the ground or get lost. That's how we've dealt with not having a cup holder or console.

I checked out the Britax website, thanks! I'm actually looking at the B-Agile and not the B-Ready, but that looks like a great stroller too. So many configurations! :goodvibes

Yeah, I'm definitely not a hard core jogger. ;) Really more a treadmill jogger but it's nice to be outsite with the little one and get a workout at the same time!

Thanks for the link, that's a great option to consider for the stroller organizer. We actually already have one of the sippy cup tethers that we use. It's so great for the stroller so we're not constantly stopping to pick up cups/toys.

I think we are going to go ahead and go with the B-Agile. Now to decide what color... Good thing there aren't too many choices there, I'm not very good with making decisions! :lmao:
