cookies are getting baked....laundry in washer...no scrapping between cookies though, not enough time...will try to get some done later on.

Jennifer - the cookies are drop's no rolling! easy peasy...drop, bake, frost if you want! hope you feel better!

Ok, I'm going down to finally get started on my DHS kits again.... Had to clean up a mess the kids made after we went to bed.... they helped so it wasn't time consuming...but then I had to run out for the blasted MILK again!!! It's a rainy day so there is no real motivation... you would think that would motivate you because there is nothing else to do...

Congrats on the last mini-kit Cheryl.... I'm going to finish all the cutting today.... then I can put them together tomorrow.... Shopping day is Tuesday... I got Dsis and BIL a movie gift card I found on my way out of the store...so I grabbed Itune cards for their stockings... I think I will grab another set of those next week too....

Starting cutting 44 christmas cards last night. Got the bases cut, scored & folded. Cut 44 fronts & ran thru Cuttlebug embossing folders. Today, using Cricut to cut 44 snowflakes & 44 circles. Zipping right along.

What a difference it makes to be using the correct settings for your paper on the Cricut. Last year, it started out ok, but by the end, it was tearing my paper. Grrrr. Earlier this year, I found the Cricut Cutting Guide PDF download & iphone app from Above Rubies Studios. Godsend! So nice to just look up the brand of paper I'm using in the guide (I use iPhone app) and it tells you the Cricut settings!!! No more wasted paper. No tears. No guessing. Just set & cut!!!

Things going so much faster this year! I started much later than I ever have to make by cards but I'm not stressed at all at this rate. Found I didn't have a sentiment for inside, so last night, I scored a cheap used stamp off ebay for the purpose. I'll do everything else & address envelopes & write & sign inside. I can stamp the inside & just slide in the envelope when it comes in.

well my day got shot to heck....was almost done baking when my mom called....giving me the "I'm so not in the mood for christmas" doom and gloom since she is sick with a cold, looking at her tree feeling even worse because its not decorated.....my mom drives me CRAZY, just come out and ask for my help...so we got cleaned up and went over to decorate her tree...just got home and still need to frost my cookies and clean up the kitchen....
not in any creative mood now to scrap so will hope to get some done tomorrow!

BTW - on my cookies when you frost them put them in the fridge to harden up a bit before you put the next layer on top of them so they don't get all squished up!
