Universal was advertising the buy a 2 day 2 park pass for the price of a 1 day one park pass back when I booked my stay at HRH for next weekend. A few people on here reported that once they got to HRH they were told they could not get the deal because it was not noted on their reservation. I make sure tometion several times when I called that I wanted the 2 for one special. I was todl that some adds were pulled because they were missprinted. I told them This was a TV add and it was spoken in a voice over. She acted as if she made a note of it but I am worried that they will not honor it. I will take the paper with me that I wrote the code on. I hope HRH does not screw this up. I love the hotel but considering the rotten service we got on our first trip they will not get my business again if they mess up big time again.

Let me know how it goes. We got the same deal when we made our reservations for February and I've called several times to confirm that we will get that deal. I am anxious to see if you have any problems with it.

I will let you know when I get back. I plan on calling tomorrow just ot make sure they have it noted and that they have it on the reservation that we need a cot in the room.

Just wondering if you were able to get the 2 for 1 deal. The guy I spoke to at Loews told me I would definitely get it. I hope the front desk people feel the same way.

We are going to Universal next month and staying at Portofino Bay for 2 nights so this deal would work out great for us, but I was not aware of it. Could someone give me a little more information on how it works, how they got it and if there is an end date for the offer?
Thanks,
Ted

I got the offer through a newspaper advertisement. It was for those living in the Southeastern states and you have to show ID. It also has to show the code on your reservation.

I am so glad to see the boards back up. I felt like was going through withdrawl LOL

I had another strange experience with the HRH this trip. I decided to call Thur. morning before we left to check on our reservation. the frotn desk told me all I had to do was show my ID but thye thought the deal was over. I knew it was going until Feb 14 so they transferred me to the conceirge desk to make sure. They told me it was not noted on my reservation so even with ID I did I could not get it and they could not change it on the computer. He was ver helpful and gave the the 1 800 no for central reservations. The lady I spoke to did not have a clue what I was talking about. My guess is that she had a bout a 5th grade understanding of English. She kept insisting to book a package for me and would not check on my standign reservation. She finally transferred me to where I am not sure. That pphone was answered just as Universal Flordia I believe. The lady I spoke to there explained that my reservation had to start with a 9 to get the deal and reissued me a reservation number and was able to make serveral notes on the reservation for me including we needed a roll away. However when I tried to purchase the tickets they said it still was nto coming through on the computer. I think the guy helping me was a mamager because he didn't bat an eye and just asked to see my id and was able to change it to the deal.

the latest news letter from Deb Wills ( I think) had the code in it. I have already deleted it but I did post it on www.thathomesite.com under vacations. The thread I think is.... Is it true about Disney

I hope we don't have any trouble geting the deal because my reservation # starts with 8. I am going to call the front desk a few days before I go to try and confirm.
