Anyone had gum graphing surgery?

My dd is having gum graphing surgery next week for one tooth. She is wondering about recovery time and work. Does anyone have experience with this and how did it go!? Thanks in advance for any info!

My youngest son had it many years ago. They used some of the tissue from the roof of his mouth to graft it. It’s been so long ago, I really don’t remember much but he healed fine with no complications.

DD healed just fine. She plays French horn and the pressure of the mouth piece against her teeth wore down her gum line. After surgery she was back to playing in no time.
