Hi!

I need some suggestions...

I have been working hard for awhile to get a small baking business on the go. Now that I have all the important items in place I have one last thing to take care of and that's a name. I've been trying for weeks to come up with a name without any luck! I don't want anything too cheesy (so not necessarily a title that's related to baking). My fiance suggested I look at flower names or "culture" <--not so sure where to start with that one! to find what I'm looking for.

If anyone has any ideas please feel free to let me know-I'd love to hear them!

So far I like the name acacia bakery....

We had a bakery here in town (now closed) that was called The Baker's Dozen. I always thought it was cute. We have one called Danner's Bakery (last name of the owner is Danner) And Uncle Billy's Bakery..not sure where that name came from.

What about "Sweetie Pie"? Are you specializing in anything particular or do you have a staple pastry?

Brulee'?
Napoleon?
Sweet Tart
There was a bakery here called DaVinci (I think it closed)

Sweet Retreat

Culinary Creations

Bun in the Oven

How about "Thirteen" (as in a bakers dozen).

cheesy, but it just popped into my head: Rolling in Dough!

If you have an easy name, do your name. Like Smith's Bakery. Or Kathy's Bakery. It kind of sounds classic.
There is a bakery around here called Sugar's, which I think is kind of cute.
Congrats!

I like your user name...Chantellabelle , maybe shorten it to Chantabelle Bakery

These are all cute suggestions - and are good choices if looking for cute. But personally, I don't care for the "cutesie" names. The four best bakeries in our area the have been around for ages and are the ones that everyone thinks of when thinking of a good bakery are called

1. "Your City" Bakery
2. "Last Name" Bakery
3. "Last Name" 's
4. "First Name" Bakery

(Of course, not ACTUALLY "Your City" Bakery. Just giving you an idea.)

lol I have a few:

"(The) Sweet Boutique"

"Sugar and Spice "

"Hugs & Kisses"

lol One more:

"Bake My Day!"

In Glastonbury, England there was a place called "Burns the Bread" but we kept calling it "Burns Your Buns". LOL!!!

I actually love the "Rolling in Dough" idea!!

How about "Chantella Belle", or really class it up and call it "Chantella Belle's Patisserie" :) Or Enchante'. I neeed to get away from the French. LOL!

I like Acacia Bakery too.

I also like the sound of Azalea (Uh-zayl-yuh). I only put the pronunciation in because I used to live on a street with that name and people would constantly read it as "a-za-lee-uh". LOL!
