I bought a Blackberry Curve last month - Mr Tesco had a very good deal on them with Orange at the time.:)

I don't use it/need it for business and only got it because I liked it, wanted it and couldn't afford an I phone.:rotfl2:

Right, so what apps do you use/recommend? I have downloaded Paypal (I Ebay a lot), Facebook (of course) and Poynt and have seen a mobile auction app that I can use to Ebay (need to go onto the website first to set it up).

Also, any other recommendations as to what you use yours for. My email account is with AOL so I access them through the website rather than paying the extra £5pm to get them sent to me.

Thanks.

Sorry cannot really recommend anything as I am not a phone-geek in anyway at all.
I do have a Blackberry pearl in Titanium and it's a great looking phone, it also works in the US which is partly the reason why I bought it.
Julie has one also, but a different model to mine and yours.

Battery is rubbish lasts about 2 days even with little use and I do not use it for email/internet and more.

I have a Storm 2, I Have facebook, you tube, Google maps and Flkr on it along with Fox news, Telegraph newspaper, AP news, The weather channel, Score mobile, open beak, and Mini Opera browser.
they are battery hungry, but as its constantly bringing in emails, facebook updates, news updates, its not surprising really.

Is the Mini Opera browser good? I have seen it mentioned elsewhere and someone said that if you use mobile internet this is the way to go. I assume I just download this from their website?

Yes :-0

took a bit of getting used to as the Storm relies on solid clicks whilst the browser uses more touch screen a-la iphone, but quicker than blckberries current browser (though a new one is on its way I gather)
