Anyone going to Tony Hawk's Grand Jam?

I think 5 1/2 yr od ds would love this. Does anyone know how the seating is? No clue what a show like this would be like?

$120 + tax for the three of us, ds would have to miss two days of Kindergarten, 7 hour drive, not really warm enough to swim, $129 RP FL resident rate...hmmm.

Just called the APH department, and according to them it is included in your AP and a one day ticket to Universal. $129 is a good rate at RPH, when I called it was sold out, so as much as I hate to do it, we're making that a disney weekend. All of the flying around and acrobatics might hold the attention of a 5yr old, but not for very long. If you want a clue what the show will be like, then watch a video or replay of the X-games. It's a bunch of Skateboarders/bmx's doing tricks, lots of loud music....loads of fun. I put it like this, if you're a fan of the Tony Hawk video games, then you'll like the show. I went to boom boom huck jam in palm beach a while ago, and my son (who was 7 at the time) and I loved it. He did get bored after a while though.

So is this event free you say for AP holders? Are you sure? Anyone?

Talked to a few people at Universal today. It is not a seperate ticket event. There are preferred seats that you can buy, but as far as the show itself, its free with your ticket price..whether it be a one day ticket or AP

My son's hero is Tony Hawk. Went to Boom Boom Huck Jam in Columbus and he loved it. He will be 6 next month.

Thanks for all the info. I couldn't get ds and dh excited about it after all, and I'd rather wait to go when it's a little warmer and we can stay longer. Hopefully it will help someone else and if anyone else catches the show, maybe they can let us know how it was? Thanks a bunch!
