Anyone going to the "Trade Parade" This weekend?

I just made arrangements to go to WDW this weekend and was wondering who else from the DIS would be attending the event?

What do you think the chances are that they will release the LE 1000 during this event?

I dunno.. we're still pretty wiped from the Pin Event. Not only that, but we're moving, so I doubt we'll make it. Who knows.. we may run over to take a break from unpacking!

We will be in WDW, and I will try to make it!! Just wish I knew more specifics. There is NO WAY I will be sitting in my car all night, and NO WAY I will drag my DH and freinds to MGM to sit on a curb for hours or wait in a line in the August heat. Dizpins says something about buying the new pins from a cart that is part of the parade? Does that mean that thousands of folks are going to be lined up trying to get to ONE pin cart. YIKES... sorry to sound so negative... I'm really excited about a new pin event, since I missed the big one in August, but I've been to two unorganized pin events and would like a stress free weekend. I hope to make it and hope to see some folks and hope to make some trades.

I might attend it. Pins + Characters = Going there to me. If one of the pins is a Minnie one, then I WILL! Its Labor Day weekend anyway, so I have some time to kill.

Gary's pass expires Friday so unless I "find" $80 He likely won't be going. We'll see what we can do Peggie

In one of my many pep talks I have been given over the last week I was called the Pin Ambassador for Disney. What better person to hold Pinboy's hand. Or all of him for that matter, he's so small. Does that mean you'll tag along too Raul? (WAH ) Maybe Donna will be free this weekend so she can keep you busy so Pinboy and I can go scoop pins off the trade float while you play with the little kids. :big grin:
