Anyone going to the 12:00 showing of

I realize that they'd probaly be there now... ..but wanted to know if anyone thought about it...I was thinking how quick 7:45 would get here and that this movie is 3 hours and 20 minutes long...
Hope to go see it saturday if i can get tix....

DS and DH are going at 2:40 today. I got tickets yesterday.
DS16 wanted to go at midnight but Mother has to ruin everything! I'm sure I'll be going sometime soon, DS will go with anyone as many times as he can. He loves LOTR!
I had to see the last 2 about 6 times before I understood everything that was going on!

DH and I went last night. All I have to say is the Oscar better be given to Peter Jackson.

It was one heck of a roller coaster ride. AWESOME, AWESOME, AWSOME.

The worst part of it all..... I have to wait till fall for the extended DVD!!! Aaaaargh!

Dare I say, maybe the best epic of all time? If Peter Jackson & LOTR does not win any Oscars, I'll never go see another movie ever again! (Well, maybe that's a little exaggeration).


But seriously, not since seeing Star Wars have I felt this way about a movie or movies for that matter and trust me there have been some GREAT movies out this year. (Master and Commander, POTC, Kill Bill, etc). I want to weep it was so good. (Course that may be because I only had 3 hours of sleep last night too!) It was everything I was hoping and more. We watched the extended versions of FOTR & TTT before going to see ROTK last night.

I would love to hear others feedback that have seen it.

I went!!! IT WAS UNVELIEVABLE!! my friends bought me Sting (the sword that frodo carries that glows blue when orcs are near, real sword...but doesn't glow blue lol ) and two of them had Narsils and they staged a sword fight at the beginning to introduce the movie (they work there) and i feel like such a geek but it was so much fun!!!! I haven't been to bed yet, got home at 430 and then had an 8am final...and not I am waiting for elijah wood to come on Regis and Kelly!

I am dying to see this movie!! I cannot wait but not sure when I will get to go! DH and I will need a sitter. Glad to hear it will be all I expected.

I am also excited to get the DVDs extended versions.
