Anyone Going to Star Wars SciFi Breakfast on Sunday, May 4th?

If you are, could you post some photos of the Jawas trading/bartering in SciFi? My DD is "friends" with a Jawa that first, kick-off morning and it would be nice if the Jawas could have some action shots from that exciting morning. Thanks in advance!!

Little trinkets, glow sticks would be cool because it is dark in SciFi, glow in the dark jewelry, trading cards, marbles, anything small that the Jawas can easily trade with other families.

My 6 yo DD keeps telling me she's going to hug Darth Vader when she sees him 'cause there's still good inside him'. Can't wait to see what really happens when she does see him!

Another thing you could do is if you have a Facebook, make those particular pictures public and just link them in the thread using the photo tool above your reply box. That's how I do all of my in-thread pictures.

Here's my attempt!!!





itinkso - Funny story about our experience. My DD-4 was fine with Vader and Boba Fett, took pictures with Stormtroopers and was ok with Greedo (but would not get by him for a pic). Then she spotted the Jawa's walking around... My 3 kids were in the front of our "car" and we were behind them. So the Jawa's come closer and I turn to the front of the car and see that I'm missing a "head". We found my 4 yo on the floor hiding in the bottom of the car - she was afraid of them!! By the time they did come to us she was ok to "see" them as long as she was sitting between DH and I but wouldn't go near them. When she realized she could "trade" with them though, then she interacted but still didn't want to get to close My DD-6 kept calling them Chihuahua's though They were great though, so glad for your post to bring something to trade or we wouldn't have thought of it!

thanks! just a regular flash on my point and shoot. we weren't very far away though. I took them from in the car and they were standing right there.

Yes, i think the whole "no face" thing is what scared DD initially. At least she didn't scream like she did when we went into Haunted Mansion (in my defense, she begged me to go in and we went right out the chicken exit)

I think we traded two lollipops (DD's idea) and a "first visit" pin. We got a necklace, small disney pin and half of a compact mirror (the part with the mirror). We were done with our meals but specifically waited for the Jawa's and it was a great interaction. It was also the first day so they were a little out of sorts with the character "rounds" (we saw stormtroopers and greedo twice - DD-4 did actually high 5 Greedo the 2nd time he came around). One of our favorite meals, I do hope they keep this one!
