My fiance and I are doing our first Disneyland trip alone (I've been with the family 4x) but it's our first time to California with just the two of us. We will be there April 8-15
So excited!!

Anyone else going during this spring time?!

We just booked our annual spring CA trip April 4-12; with Disneyland being April 9-11 (we have APs, so can't go on Saturday the 12th as it is blocked out for Deluxe).

Enjoy your time! It'll be quite a while before I can convince hubby to travel without kids ;-)

Since this is really a once in a lifetime (or very longtime anyway) trip, I am very relived to see that Space Mountain and Soarin refurb dates have changed.

Hi we will be in DL on 20th to 23rd. We are from Australia and it is our 6th time to DL. We will be visiting WDW from 1st to 8th April also and that is our 6th time also. We love America so much that we have seen most of the country.

Space refurb begins in mid-May and Soarin' has been pushed out with no dates listed yet.

We were originally planning on a May trip, but with all the refurbs in May we switched to April. Our dates aren't set in stone yet, but as of right now planning on April 2-9. This is going to be an adult trip and we'll take the kids in the fall for Halloween time.

Looks like as of right now the only ride we are really going to miss will be Indy, but seems like that can change at any moment. I think we are going to wait to book anything until we get just a little closer.

I had a similar reaction when I found out the delay. I'm still trying to find places where they list it. But a lot of people are saying its delayed. So I think it's legit?

But seriously I'll explain why the refurb initially upset me. Story of my life. I get to spend extended time in California and of course one of my favorite rides is down for a refurb.

Anyways bascially living in California starting in and around the 20th of February until we think around the 26th of April. I'm having weight loss surgery on the 24th of February and so yeah recovery time and all that jazz. We're staying over at the Staybridge Suites. And by this point post-op I should be a pretty frequent park goer. There's some older photos in the Wine and Dine Half Marathon Thread if you want to see what I look like since I'm fairly friendly and am always up for a hello if you see me in the park.
