Right, I probably have some nerve here, but if you don't ask, you never find out :scratchin

I have been in touch with the guy who does the Guide to the Magic for Kids and I am ordering one for my DD. I can have it delivered to my resort which allows me to pay $5 shipping instead of $35 :scared1:to the UK.

It occurred to me at 2 am that MAYBE someone who doesn't have weight issues with luggage on the inbound might be able to bring it back for me if I could have it delivered to their resort and then I could pay the postage from the UK  Then DD could get it to keep her busy on the plane after all, instead of getting it on arrival.

Two things I need to be upfront about: It is a hardcover book, a little smaller than and A4 so not tiny and has 200 pages, so this isn't a half pound weight. Secondly, it is not essential that I have it before we go - it just seemed like an extra way to burn some time on the flight for her.

In other words, please don't feel obligated. I would still need to email the guy and check that he would do it anyway.

I know, I know, it's a bit of a cheek but I thought I was so clever at 2 am this morning I couldn't not ask. :rotfl:

Cheek of some people:rotfl2:

Yes we can bring one back for you no problem, 96kg pp allowance so we should be OK:rotfl: Although nobody else have any ideas about using our allowance, we like to stick to 1 case each.:goodvibes

If you could just wait a while before emailing him, Karen is having a look see if its something we would like, our Goddaughter is going with us next year. They do an offer for buying 2. Don't see an age on it, she will be 3 when we go.

Oh yes! There is also a good deal on at the moment on the price, whether one or more, at $19.95 which is a $10 saving per book. Through several chatty emails with the guy who runs the site I have learnt that a new edition is due to be released by the fall which is why this one is on a special offer. The other offer is a saving on postage. No big rush. Let me know when you are ready and please, I can't stress enough, if it isn't convenient, feel free to say so. :goodvibes

ETA: If it helps you at all, I posted a request for feedback on this on 2 boards (wasn't sure where to put it) if you want to have a read.

I am so glad you posted this:thumbsup2

I have just read the reviews that you posted above!! I had no clue about it before and now it is something I am definatley going to get for my kids.

My kids are ' questioners ' (is that a word??) and to have their own little book to find the answers will be fantastic ( and give me some peace:woohoo:)

Thanks again 2Tiggies:hug:

Thanks Lee, im off to order 3 copies, 1 each for my monsters:rotfl2:
looks like a "kill 3 birds with 1 stone" they can use it as a autograph book as well as a guide/diary and they ll be able to carryit themselves and fill it in over TS meals (will keep them quiet;))

:hug:thanks

Wow, that looks really cool! I don't have any kids...maybe I should get one for me? :lmao:

Haha, yeah! Definitely more cost effective to stick with the book ;)

And really...I'm laughing here, but I am considering getting it and/or The Lost Journals *giggles*
