Anyone Going Soon - Need Grad Cap

I'm hoping someone here will be going to WDW soon. I saw the 2009 graduation Mickey Ears available on the online Disney Parks shopping page, but they pulled it before I could even get it ordered. My daughter is graduating next month and I would love to have this hat, even if it is after her graduation. If someone could pick two up and have them personalized with her name, I can pay ahead of time and for shipping.

I think there is a number you can call Disney Merchandising directly and get them to ship it out.

I did call them, but they don't do personalization. That is why I was hoping someone was going down soon so that they could get the name embroidered on the hat for me.

I think what I might do is order the hats by phone from Disney and bring them down with us the end of August. Hopefully they will let me get them embroidered at Le Chapeau in the Magic Kingdom. I know I had a bit of a hassle getting some hats done at Disneyland last year. We bought them at Downtown Disney and when we went into Disneyland park, the lady doing the embroidery didn't recognize the hat and kept asking where we got it, when, etc. She did end up doing it, but I sure wish I had the receipt with me instead of at the room. Hope I don't have a hassle like that this time, since the grad caps won't be on sale when I'm at Walt Disney World in August.

We saw these at Disney's Character Premiere at the Premium Outlet Mall on Vineland Ave. last week. They were $8.00. My dd almost bought one to wear at her graduation from her Masters program at UofT next week. They are really cute; mortar board with tassle and Mickey ears.
