While we were at Disney, my DD lost a tooth. It was one of the most memorable events in our trip, especially after Cinderella and the Fairy Godmother gave her their congrats. She was so excited when the tooth fairy not only managed to find her in Disney, but also left her Dumbo Dollars!
Unfortunately, she left the envelope with her tooth fairy money in it in our room in such a way that Mousekeeping mistook it for a tip and took it
She drew a picture for our Mousekeeper and had it clipped to her clipboard with a note for her, and she clipped the Disney Dollars underneath, because she wanted her to see them, but the note didn't explain that part -- so of course our Mousekeeper thought the dollars were a tip! We didn't realize it until we couldn't find it and asked her about it, and she told us where she had left it. DD doesn't know that Mousekeeping took it, and I was hoping to replace the envelope without her realizing it had ever been missing.
A dear friend who went to Disney last weekend offered to get her new Disney Dollars, but they just arrived today, and they're Chicken Little dollars instead of the Dumbo dollars like we had. I know DD will be disappointed if I just give her those.
Would anyone who's going soon be willing to get 3 new Dumbo Dollars for DD and mail them to me? I'd be happy to mail you 3 Chicken Little Dollars in exchange, of course!
