Anyone Going on Valentine's Day?

Will anyone be going on Sunday, February 14th (Valentine's Day)?

I have a Premium Pass, but shockingly, my husband has never been to "The Land"! I think it will be crowded, but since even Deluxe Passes are blocked out, I have hopes that it won't be too bad. I'm also thinking that I'll get a one-day parkhopper for him since his height (I've made a few posts on here before about him being too tall to fit on rides at other parks) will keep him from my favorites like Space and even BTMRR, so I think having Soarin', TOT, and TSMM at DCA will provide some more rides for him (Screamin' is also out, bummer). He has never even SEEN a Disney animated film before, so going to DL with me is really MY Valentine's gift! I am really hopeful that by going he can have fun and understand why I love the place so much, so wish me luck in converting him!!!

How tall is he??? My 6'7" BIL had no problem on the rides.

I'm actually expecting high crowds since it is one of the 5 days all year that the "Give a Day" vouchers are blacked out.

can't wait; have been to disney world as an adult but last time at disney land was 1967 lol... anything i should know?

He is 6'5" but has really long legs, so coasters are usually out bc he can't sit down. On a less crowded day I might be willing to experiment but not on a busy one. I'd hate to wait in line or waste a fastpass. He only fit on about half the rides at Knott's, so based on some other tall people's stories on the board I don't think he would fit on the rides I mentioned.

DBF and I will be there in the evening after 5pm. He is going to try to get us PS to Napa Rose.

YES, it will be very crowded. We were there last year on Valentine's day (it's our son's birthday) and it was pretty bad. I think that's the reason that even the deluxe passes are blocked out.

That being said, you will still have a great time. Arrive early and use the fast passes!
