In addition good friends of ours that are dis'ers too - Deb and John will be on as well. They are doing a B2B with this being the 2nd part. This will be their 10th.
Anyone planning on doing FE?

With only 109 days left until we sail off, there aren't many posting for this crusie? I wonder if we have the "Wonder" all to ourselves?
DH & I are thinking of doing this one. We have never sailed for less than 7 nights, but it sounds fun to go that time of year (& get in that cruise number 10). lol
Anyone been to Nassau before? We just did the Baltics & found that the places we had shore excursions turned out to be the best times!!!
By the way DS & I are doing a B2B where we are doing the 4 day cruise leaving on 10/10/10 & this one leaving on 10/14/10 & these two cruises will make it #4 & #5 disney cruise for me making me "gold".
...I've been to Nassau twice. First time was with DH & we took the tour of Atlantis resort & aquarium then walked around the resort till it was time to go back to the ship. We really enjoyed that excursion.
Second time I was cruising solo (needed time away from my 3 teen sons) & I stayed onboard, went to the Rain Forest Room @ the spa, sunbathed by the adult pool, & enjoyed a quiet time in the lounge with my first ever pina colada.
DW and myself are Gold but my Mom is silver and this cruise will put her to Gold. That is one reason why we are doing this cruise as the first of B2B. So when we go on the 10/17 sailing she will be able to go to the Castaway Club party. We were going to do the same as you then she reminded us there was no Castaway Party on the 3 night sailings...
Well we're all booked for excursions and Palo. We're doing the Catamaran Sail and Reef Snorkel in Nassau, DH John and my nephew Casey are doing Jet Skis on Castaway Cay. Then we're doing Palo dinner with Lisa and Darrell and Jen and Mike. YEAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! BTW, Lisa.....I got the email back from our TA saying that we are linked for dinner. Is anyone onboard thinking about doing FE gifting? Lisa, I will definitely pick up a few little items for Lila's FE. That should be a lot of fun.![]()
Well we do focus a little on advancing levels a little. See we were going to be on the TA in Sept. Because of the government taking over DW profession we had to cancel and she can not vacation till Oct 8. So with the Magic in Drydock B2B was one of only a handful of options. My mom was very adamant about taking at least one cruise. We are also taking the Wonder thru the Panama Canal in Jan. My mom really wanted to be a Gold castaway for that cruise. She remembered the extra deck party they had for CC members and such. So that is why we seem level focus right now. Yes if you look there is no CC party on 3 night cruises. I think it is a raw deal but like you said I think it boils down to time.Interesting about no CC party - wonder why? No time? It's sort of fun now that they "celebrate" it more -- it was fun in the old days, but then for a while it was a trivia game that spanned several rooms w/ monitors to fit everyone in & we didn't really go to that more than once...
But good to know we're not weird for focusing on advancing in CC levels!!!![]()
Smart woman, perfect cruise for reaching your 10th Disney cruise & becoming Platinum. I'm a little jealous.

We like sailing 7 or more days ourselves, but sometimes a shorter cruise does make sense especially in your case. I'd say go for it!![]()
