This is our first cruise ever. I thought that DCL would make sure that we had a great experience.

I do Customer Care for a living so, I am a very discerning customer.

From reading everyones' posts, I'd say that I don't have anything to worry about!

Finally someone else is going the same cruise as us! We have 3 category 11 rooms booked but are hoping for some pixie dust upgrade for at least one of us! But we will be happy with what he have..we have rooms 6002, 6003 and 6004

We have 2 girls 7 and 10

We'll be in a cat 6- #5630 (down the hallway from the famous Barb/Tony suite.)

There will just be two grown-up kids in our cabin as we are empty-nesters.

Have you been on a DCL cruise before?

Well lucky you! You will have an awesome time I'm sure.

We have not been on a Disney cruise before but did a cruise on our honeymoon 11 years ago! That was NCL and we had a great time.

Enjoy your room, it sounds like its a nice one!

My family is cruising on the 10/9 Wonder. Five of us Hall family plus one boyfriend..teenage daughters always seem to attract additional boys to every family event!

It is my daughters 16th birthday on the 9th and our first Disney cruise...my 82 year old mom is the veteran cruiser with 3 transatlantic cruise ship crossings during the 40's and 50's as an air force officer's wife with five kids...

she has the best cruise stories of us all...5 kids under 10 and no Oceaneer's club!

We also have a five year old daughter along. My wife and I just celebrated our 18th anniversary last month on the Sovereign of the Seas on a 4 day to the Bahamas..we are now hooked on the cruies thing....

:p

Sign us up too. I was beginning to get lonely thinking we were the only ones on this board going. It's going to be a party of 8. My mom, sister, brother, sil, nieces (11 & 12), daughter (7) and myself. We're up on deck 8 cabins 8504 and 8506 I believe. Anyone else going to Magic Kingdom beforehand? Can't wait. First time cruising.:p

Sounds like maybe my daughters may run into your nieces or daughter if they are at any of the clubs (or the pool)

Hope to see you!

Yes it does. Just look for two blondes one young and one old, with grins from ear to ear.;)

We may have a crowd after all!

The days are counting down! Now, if my docs will ever get here...

I've been working and writing so much lately. I really need to kick back and act like a kid! ;)

What better way to spend your birthday than on a cruise? Hats off to my fellow October babies!

BTW- Has anyone ever seen Tigger on a cruise? We must see Tigger!

We are going on the 9th for the big 3 day. We have a 6 year
old daughter and it's our 4th Disney cruise. 2 4days and 1 7 day previous so I guess we know what it's all about. Doing the 3 day because of a school break and bringing some friends with us with an 7 year old grandson. We do 3 to 5 per cruises on all lines
per year but since the little one started 1st grade we are cutting back to when she is out. Category 11 and we got out papers several weeks ago. If you don't have them yet best ask about them. Could be lost in the mail! The Wonder is the best one IMO. I like that Cadillac lounge which is not on the Magic.
Plus it's a bit newer than the Magic. Disney is so different than other cruise lines it's like a breath of fresh air so we are looking forward to even a messly 3 day one. See you there for the
large gulf shrimp lunch on Thursday.

We'll be there, on our honeymoon. Doesn't look like a technologically advanced group going the 9th. Not many people made it to the forums that are cruising that day :D

:Pinkbounc Woo Hoo our docs came through! :Pinkbounc

Time is ticking away... It's getting closer!

Congratulations Madatrub on your marriage and your honeymoon! May you be blessed with many years of marital bliss (and many cruises on DCL)!

My husband and I are coming up on our 25th anniversary and we still act like newlyweds!

See you next week!
