Haven't seen too many posts with regard to this date...just thought I'd ask!! Anyone else going? :flower:

This will be our second cruise and we will be sailing with our 6yr old boy and girl twins. We can't wait...it is so wonderful (pardon the pun) :)

We're really looking forward to our first Disney cruise. Also plan on spending a few days in Orlando afterwards before heading back to Atlanta. Any tips for us first-time cruisers? We have the late seating for dinner, so I'm a little concerned about the time.

When we went on our first cruise we had two baskets for the kids waiting in the room. We ordered them through Shirley at the Perfect Gift and they loved them. We said that they were from Mickey and Minnie. They contained beach toys, capri suns, fruit snacks and other snacks and they really came in handy.

We have the early seating which works better for our family...but I have heard some people with younger kids like the late seating because you are not as rushed. Maybe you should inquire when you get on the boat about switching. Definately do Palos one night...yummy!! That's about it...just have fun...it is special experience to share with your son.

Hi all! Myself and my DBF will be joining you on the 5/22 cruise. This will be our first cruise and we are so excited!!! I booked it over two months ago and since then we have been planning planning planning....can't wait to finally go!

Thanks for the tips. The gift baskets are a cute idea! Did you visit the store to order, or does The Perfect Gift have a website?
Yes, we do plan on eating at Palo one night. I actually booked the REAS package, since my husband and I both will want a massage, so I guess we can make our reservation at Palo in advance. I was tentatively planning on reserving for the day at sea, since I understand that the dining room rotation on this night will be the same at day one.

MickeyAnne-
I've been the same way. I booked ours about five months ago, so I am really ready for May to get here!
Half the fun of vacationing is the planning, though!

I just called Shirley and told her what I wanted. You can even send her stuff and she will put it in the basket along with the other stuff. I don't have her # off hand but I am sure if you do a search you will be able to find it really easy. The baskets were waiting in the room when we arrived, it really was fun to see their expressions.

This will be our family's first Disney Cruise. We are doing the land sea. Traveling myself, DH, and our DD's 7 and 5. We are all so excited and can't wait to go. I think the whole family really needs this vacation. I'm so sick of all the snow this winter. Bring on the sunshine! :sunny:

See you all aboard! :wave2:

I just can't wait. :hourglass I think I am on here everyday. :earboy2: I hope the cruise is as much fun as all the planning is!! :cheer2:

Woohoo! Final payment made a week ago and I finally took the plunge and registered to join the fun here on the boards. (I've been lurking for about a month.) DH, myself, DS (12), and DD (10) will try our sea legs for the first time on this cruise.

Any one know if they will be showing Star Wars Revenge of the Sith during our cruise? DH is a huge fan. :worship:

Also did anyone get their docments yet? I know it's kind of early. Just curious. :hyper:

I don't know what will be showing on our cruise. :confused3 I also do not have any docs yet.I think with in the next couple of weeks we should have them!! :cool1: When I get mine I will post it here ,of course after I finish my doc dance. :dancer:

Oh my, if the next Start Wars movie is showing my DH and DS will be so excited. That would just be the icing on the cake for them.

Judging by the limited posters on this thread, we may have the ship to ourselves. :earboy2: 40 days till we set sail!!!!

Wow 40 days :hourglass , better start packing lol. I am also surprised that there aren't too many posters for this thread. I ordered pirate costumes for my dd's. pirate: They will be dressing up for pirate night. We are all very excited and can't wait to go.

Wow ,I did not realize it is 40 days until we set sail. :earseek: I called DCL about a month ago and they told me this cruise is full. :confused3 I can not wait !!
