We're planning a trip for the last week of July. Since our son will start school in early August, we decided we'd take him and his cousin down for an early birthday present. We've never been during the summer. How bad is it? We plan on spending our days by the pool and our nights in the parks.

I'll be there the end of July also. I went in August last year, and it was hot and crowded, but DD doesn't want to miss any school, so its summertime again this year. We do the parks in the early morning, go back to the hotel in the afternoon for a swim, then back to the parks at night. It worked out really well that way last summer. I also make sure I get the hopper option because if one park gets overly crowded, I just scoot over to another park. :flower:

We will be there July26- Aug3. We love it at that time. Its hot but if you go early and take a break in the afternoon everything works out well.

We also go that time of year and will again this July 22-31. We have to go when theres no sports, school, etc. we love it then and go early, swim in the afternoon, and head back in the evening. Enjoy... :sunny:

We will be there the last week of July, hot and humid! :rolleyes1

Drink WATER WATER WATER WATER WATER!!!!!!
That is the KEY to enjoying yourself during the summer @ WDW.

We are also going down the last week of July. Was there last year same time, and as long as we have water & take afternoon breaks...all is well!!

We are going July 16-31. This is our first time ever over the summer. Usually we go In Nov/Dec and I've also been in September a few times and once in January. We are keeping an open mind. We know it will be hot, but since we are there for 2 weeks we hope to take it easy and enjoy ourselves.

Will also be going from july 22nd - july 31st. Someone else posted the same time. Will be staying at CSR. Anyone else staying at CSR during that time???

We'll be there July 16-21 and then to the DCL. Last year was the 1st time we went in the summer (except when I was like 12). I thought I had prepared for the heat. :rotfl2: Not. Your glasses will fog after you walk out of the A/C. Really...do not even bother with any makeup (ok..maybe eyeliner..one that doesn't run). Get everyone a personal mini fan and better yet get one that spritzes water. If you have a child in stroller..get a clip on stroller fan (the baldes are made of foam) and plenty of SPF 50. My 13 month old DD (at the time) doesn't like water...she drank it then! SHe still hates water, but we all like Propel. Freeze the water until you are ready to go and it'll stay cold for a while. Utilize FP and learn how it works and do Parent Swap (if going to parks)..we didn't utilize Parent swap and well the FP's didn't do much for us because we didn't do it right and only got to go on 2 rides. We got spoiled going in Jan and Feb.
