Anyone going July 2009?

We'll be there JUly 13th through the 20th!! And I am already loading stuff up to take too. We'll be staying at POP. This our first trip as a family. Can you believe it. My husband and I both went when we were children but this will be our first trip together and the first for my DD -9 and my DS - 11. They are so excited but no one more than me. For those of you who have used the dollar store ponchos - How well do they hold up. I have purchased two for each of us because I didn't know if they would hold up well.

Hello July folks!

I just wanted to pop in and invite anyone staying at any of the All Star Resorts (Movies, Music or Sports) to join one of our fridge swaps. They are FREE and include a coffee maker and compact fridge with small freezer.

We have 2 swaps and the links are below. On page 1 and post 1 are the available dates...Lot's of July dates available!

Ok, back to your regular programming!

June 29-July 10 for us! Right now we at CBR with the 4/3 deal in a Pirate Room. However, I may try switching to AKL, WL, YC, BC, or BW. I'm hoping for a room only to finish out my dates.

I'm finished my degree at University and planning one more family trip to celebrate!! July 3-10th.... All Stars Movies!!! Can't wait!!

Will be phoning back in a couple of weeks to book the last four days, and golf tee times too because these have to be 90 days before each tee time :)
BBB also booked for littlest princess of the party.. that's the afternoon before CRT too princess:

so happy right now! :cheer2:

also.. the CM at wdw-dine asked what we were celebrating.. i said it was 1st trip for a four-year old.. and they took a note of her name? hoping for a little added magic, maybe?!

DH and I will be at CB from July 4th-10th! :banana:Got all of the ADR's we wanted and are just counting down the days!:rolleyes1 Hope to see some fellow DISer's there!:thumbsup2

I'm getting nervous :scared: about making ADRs! This will be my first time, and I keep thinking that I'm going to oversleep on Friday morning {don't know why......I probably won't sleep a wink the night before ;) }! We are doing alot of Character Meals because it's our first time. Here is our "wish" list...anything here you think I might have a hard time getting?

Akershus {early Dinner, around 4:00, if possible}
Teppan Edo
Hollywood & Vine {early lunch, around 12, if I can}
Mama Melrose Fantasmic Package {I know...I know...good luck, right?} I'm hoping for an early dinner {around 5:00}
1900 Park Fare {early dinner}
Chef Mickey {Late Breakfast}
50's Prime Time {dinner}

What will be the most difficult to get? Mama Melrose?

Because it's my first time, I am having so much fun planning! What am I going to do when it's all over :lmao: ??????

Hi Micka Mouse.. yup I would think the Fantasmic Dinner Package will be your toughest ADR.. but if you ring at the earliest possible day&time you should be ok!
The FDP dinners have to be between 3.30pm and 5pm (I was told this on monday when booking a Brown Derby one!) .. so you should be fine for an early dinner.. I was first given 4.05pm.. but managed to move it slightly later to 4.20pm!

Happy Planning!! I am done with ADR planning & booking now so thinking of new things to plan now! maybe Disney Florist next... ;)

We finally finalized our plans to go July 9-14

This took much coordinating, which was highly frustrating on my part.
It's supposed to be my graduation trip. Yay!

Anyways... it was going to be in June to cover a few birthdays as well to take advantage of those perks, but then it was going to be the end of May (another couple birthdays)
But my husband is taking summer classes, so we decided to push it into July when he would be finished.
We will be staying at the Doubletree Suites in Downtown Disney. We got an awesome rate!

I finally got my parents to book both the plane tickets and the hotel room in the past week. They were dragging their feet even though I overemphasized that everything is totally refundable up to 3 days before.

I am a bit nervous about going during July. My last few trips have been in Winter or early Spring, and I haven't braved the Florida heat since I was about 5 years old. I'm hoping I can handle it!
I expect it to be more crowded, and hotter than it was during my last trip, but since it was so recent I'm hoping I will be relaxed about touring.
I'm just happy to be going back!

I made mine a day after the 90 window started and got all my times and restaurants no prob. I also called closer to 10:00 in the morning - No hold time, I got right through. I picked early dinner times and I think they are easier to come by. Some dinner meals we are having at 4:40. Let me sprinkle some pixie dust on you so it all works out:wizard:

:grouphug: - We'll be there Julu 13th through the 20th, me DH - DD9 and DS11 - staying at POP - hope to run into some of you DISers:cheer2:

We are going July 11-18 and my daughter is taking her best friend with her, this is her first visit, my daughters 15th birthday is the 9th so we are going to celebrate that while we are there and my DH and I will be celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary as well.....whew....we have alot to celebrate while we are there and I cant think of a better place to do it. I just hope DD friend gets bit by the Disney bug while we are there ,we have taken one other friend in the past and she was not the happiest person while we were there:sad2:

We have only been to Disney in June and July so we really don't mind the heat and crowds since we do not know how things are other times of the year. Besides any time at Disney is better than being at home right :goodvibes

Congrats!! :banana: You do have a lot to celebrate. Where will yall be staying?

I got the ADR's I wanted........now what to do? It's still too early to pack, isn't it :rolleyes1 ?

We're at POP from July 16th to July 30th! Cannot wait!!!! Phoned and made my ADRs yesterday (and the day before but the CM didn't understand my scottish accent and we got nowhere - lol) so Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey Breakfasts booked!!

I want to pack now too!!!

mo x

I spent a few hours last night going through my "ride list". Dh is beginning to think I've totally lost it ;)!

I'm going with my mom, sister, and husband who are all very much 'no plan' kinds of people so I feel like I have nothing to do! I'm making these plans and itineraries and looking at park times and making ADRs and telling them that I'll bring it, but we don't have to use any of it :rotfl2:
