I think I have posted before that dh and I will be there on Jan 29 through Feb 9. I can't wait. I think it is something like 144 days. We go the same time every year. We love it. Where do you stay? We will be at POR. Enjoy

I wil be at Pop. I'm eating at Biergarten on the 9th and doing the World and staying for EMH. If they don't change it!!

i'm seriously contemplating a solo trip from feb 6-feb 13. i can get airfare for under $150, and i have an AP, so it is very very tempting. i'll keep up with this thread for now!

OK, reservations are made at POP for 2/2/08 - 2/12/08. Working on ADRs. Here is a kind of tenative itinerary:

Arrive Sat. 2 at POP, relax after 10 hour drive with 2 kids.
Sun. 3, MK all day, no ADRs
Mon. 4, Kona for B, Downtown Disney and Chef Meckeys for D.
Tues. 5 Epcot, waiting t see about Italys new restaurant. ????
Wed. 6 MGM, Sci-Fi for L
Thurs. 7 Chef Mickeys for B
Fri. 8 AK, will probably eat at Flame Tree for lunch
Sat. 9 Probably Epcot, not sure where will eat, maybe we could meet up
Sun. 10 not sure
Mon. 11 not sure
Tues. 12 not sure

I know its crazy but I am going with my parents and my 2 kids. Sometimes it is a lot easier to do quick CS with my kids, especially DS he will be 6. I will let you know definite plans well ahead of time. Englishrose, aren't you staying at POP? Maybe we could meet up there for a little while???

ok, soooo, i booked it! the airfare is done, i've got my DU agent, just haven't figured out any of my plans yet. just know i'll be arriving around 12 noon on DME to pop on feb 6 and checking out feb 13, leaving at about 5pm on DME.

i know some places i want to eat - boma, 50's prime time (of course! at least twice ), LTT for lunch one day, possibly a couple late character b'fasts. oh geez, i'm already going crazy with the planning, and i still haven't figured out which days i'm going to which parks! working w/DU agent on that one. hopefully he'll have some suggestions for me tomorrow! i can't wait!

that sounds like a great idea! i'll also keep you posted on which parks will be which days so maybe we could meet up when you're going cs or something. but i'll definitely be checking out the pool bar . wouldn't be vacation otherwise!

That's 3 of us at Pop around same times . I'm a young at Heart senior. Not a drinker butcan have a non alcoholic something and sit and chat. I have a Dis meet 0n the 13th at PI AC at 9pm with a couple of newly weds. I've never been to AC but that's the whole point of going solo to do stuff I wouldn't with the family. My twin GDs aged 12 would love it but the 5 year old DGS Nah!!!

sweet! i thought i was going to be laughed at for being so "young" and going solo. i figure though, it's the best time to go alone, as i am young enough that i don't really have responsibilities other than myself.

and englishrose - i would love to go to that meet, but alas, that evening i am on a plane home. but no prob that you don't drink, i'm sure the non-alcoholic beverages are just as fun!

You don't need alcohol to have fun. I really don't drink to much when I am in the world. I am usually there with my parents and kids or just me and the kids.

Wanted to get that much in my computot is really messed upand I,ve posted my schedule or almost twice so I'll do a day at a time see if computor can handle that!!
Fri Feb 8th arrive noonish Head to Epcot later for supper at Biergarten and Illuminations Possibly go over to MK for Spectra at 11 if the calendar is correctabnd doesn't change!!
Can anyone join me at Pop around 2pm or at Epcot from 4 ish to 10pm??
