Anyone going Feb 7-11?

How will the crowds be? How is the weather?

Hi! We will be there Feb. 9th - 12th (Pending DH can get off of work) but personally, even if the weather is bad, I'm still excited to go! DH and I are 29 & 30 (I'm the older) and we are like a bunch of kids! We are going with my brother and his gf. It truly is going to be a blast! Hope you have a great time and if, by chance, the weather is bad, dont let it get you down and have a good time!

That exactly when we are going! School has a 4 day weekend and we are booked and ready! Rain or shine we will have a blast! as per crowds I hope it is just us!

We will be there and are taking advantage of the same 4 day weekend as jemilah!! It's so nice to have two days off school when it's NOT a holiday, I just can't pass it up~

We arrive on the 7th and leave on the 10th!!

Oh, last February, we went at the end but it rained like crazy! The February before that we were swimming at the HOJO! GO figure!

I told my kids it will probably be way too cold to swim , but I actually like DL in the cold even in the rain. it sure beats sweating in line! The only bad thing is the river ride at CA , my sons lips were blue after we rode it in May , i hate to think of Feb! But I enjoy it soo much I am sure we will be on it too! Andrea , are you leaving right after school? we are picking up the boys with the car packed !

Jemilah - We rode Grizzly River Run last February in the middle of the day and we were gine although I wouldn't do it after it gets dark!

We aren't leaving until Thursday morning. I hate to pay for a hotel on Wednesday night since I can just leave at 6am and be there for park opening! How fun to have it all packed and just go, is it a surprise?
Only one month to go, I see you are staying at the DLH, that will be fun. Our hotel has an indoor pool but we still won't swim. When the hours are short from 10-8 we stay at the park all day!

Maybe we'll run into you there. What side of town are you on in Vegas? We are over in Green Valley!

The 7the-9th should be fine crowdwise. Saturday and Sunday will be crowded but if you get there early and utilize fastpass you will have a great time. We were there last year this same time (Friday-Monday in the parks) and Sunday and Monday in particular were very crowded as So. Cal schools were out. But since you are getting there before the official long weekend, your early days should be really nice. And also, last year (and in 2004 when I went the same time) the weather was perfect and so warm during the day. We swam, the pools were heated and we couldn't reisist. The evenings were chilly but not uncomfortably so. But you never know what the weather will do so just pack something of everything! You will have a great time, I envy you, have fun!

I will be there Feb 6-10. I am staying at Candy Cane Inn although I was hoping to snag passholders rate at DLH, but no such luck. So there's a school holiday. Oh man! I was hoping to get there before the Presidents Week crowd. I will be packing umbrella and poncho by the sound of it.

You should be fine!! There isn't a holiday on the 6, 7, and 8th, it's just that our schools here in Nevada happen to be out for teacher in-service days. I love when they give us days off when it's not a holiday! And since you are only there till Saturday like me, I think we will have a great time with relatively low crowds!!
