Hi Yvonne, i have just noticed that you have stayed at the Springhill Suites in the Marriott Village. Thats where we are staying. Whats it like? Any info would be appreciated. We have only stayed in Kissimmee before and have no idea of the LBV area.

Another one going on the 22nd June, but we're coming from New York (we're doing a 'mike jones' and doing a few days in new york then orlando!) Yay not long to go! How long are you going for?

Spring Hill Suites are very good All the coridoors are internal so its nice n quiet. the staff are fantastic always very polite and friendly, Rooms are lovely nice mini kitchen with good size fridge and a family size microwave a proper kitchen sink and a proper cupboard beneath
so you can put your groceries away. The bathroom is a lovely size, behind where the writing desk is which BTW has internet access ports and telephone, lovely comfy double beds, iron and ironing board are in the walk in closet in the bedroom which has lots of hangers and room to put away at least 2 large suitcases and hand luggage and still leaves room for footwear,if you need extra hangers just call front desk and request them. There's also safe deposit boxes available at the front desk they give you 1 of 2 keys, they need both to open them and your signature before the boxes can be opened so its very safe just make sure you hang on to the one they give you until you check out of the hotel. Premium Outlets is about a 10 min walk from the hotel, Golden Corral is right next door, don't forget to try the shops at the hotel village they do some yummy food we love their hotdogs and chicken n fries the pizza is good too If you want to stock up on groceries you can either get a cab or if you are hiring a car and go to Publix near Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede or go to Goodings at the Crossroads shopping area.There are lots of fast food places down the SR535 too if you don't mind popping out and looking around don't worry it's a good neighbourhood, there's also a pharmacy on that section of SR535. The hotels have good pools too which are gated and you can access it with your room card exit /entry points are next to the lobby near the toilets (very clean)and next to the gym there's also a gate out onto the carpark overlooking Vineland Avenue which takes you up to PO DPDSthere's water jets for the kids to play in and a shower to remove the chlorine, and all the lifts in the hotel are quiet . The laundry rooms are also accessible by room card and the machines are very quick take your own preferred detergent you get better results cant remember the price per load I think it was $2.50 per wash $2 for a good dry depends on ths fabric, the washers are set on Eco to save water. The breakfasts are very yummy and again the staff are great in the restaurant too

Thank you so so much for that report. I really appreciated all the help and advice, cos we havent stayed in LBV we were a little worried in case we were out of the way. Just wish it was here now. I notice we are both from the North East.

Forgot to say they did a kids club the year we went, they had lots of activities for the kids and a quiet area, it was next to the gym on the ground floor. Check when you get there if they still do it We were there during off season so it was too late for us to use it which was a shame.
