Anyone go to Magic Kingdom on Memorial Day this past May ?

Just wanted to know how crowded was it ? I know a few posts from last year said it wasn't crowded the year before . Just planning for next year We may go Memorial day week or in August. We havent decided yet for sure.

We go to Disney World Memorial Day week almost every year for vacation. We have always found the crowds to be very manageable. It is Disney, Summer is beginning and a lot of schools in the South are out. We always get out the week before Memorial Day. I wouldn't say it is not crowded but we always have a great time and find it not too bad crowd wise, It is nothing like Spring Holidays or the week after Christmas.

We go every year during this time. we usually arrive the Saturday before Memorial Day & stay till the following Saturday or Sunday. Crowds, IMO, are VERY manageable. Being from MS & accustomed to heat and humidity, I also find the weather to be a little more tolerable than June-August.

We were in Magic Kingdom for both the 24 Hour day (Friday into Saturday) and Memorial Day this year. The 24 hour day IMO felt more crowded although the attraction wait times were very similar. It was MUCH more crowded than it was the Tuesday of the week prior.

We've gone the past 3 years in a row. MK felt more crowded during the 24 hr event, but was still a lot of fun. Also, HS on Sunday was pretty packed, but considering its a)SWW and b)Memorial holiday, it wasn't too surprising, and we still managed to do the things we wanted.

We did and it was much better than expected. It was a predicted 9 but I think the 24 hour event on the friday/Saturday morning meant a lot of people hit MK then so avoided it for the weekend. It was actually very manageable and pleasant.

Thank you this is what I wanted to know. We did go this past Memorial day week but wondered how crowded the Magic Kingdom was on Memorial day. We were at Epcot on Memorial day and it wasnt bad at all. I'm just trying to make plans for next year and thought maybe we would go to MK on Memorial Day our next trip. I know it is almost a year away but I love the planning .
