I need to go through ROFR to take my x-husband off the deed. It is complicated by the fact that we still have a mortgage. When we were prepared to do this a year ago, I was told to send in ROFR paperwork, than payoff (or refinance on my own).
When I called today to get new ROFR paperwork I was told she won't mail it until I paid my loan. I asked if this was new since that wasn't how it was in the past. She offered to have "the more familiar person" handle it. That person of course is on vacation.
Anyone with experiences they can share?
