Anyone Get This Free Cruise Letter from Imperial Majesty?

I got a letter today - the outside says it came from "THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES OF RPR RECORDS DIVISION" from Fort Lauderdale, FL. In it is a plane ticket-type letter with logos of Imperial Majesty, Ramada Plaza Resort, Alamo, Budget, Universal Orlando and CLIA. I wanted to see if anyone else got this and if they followed through on it...

The letter reads:

"Pack your bags XXXX! You've been identified to receive a FREE Two Night Caribbea Cruise for two adults!* As ou guest, you'll cruise round-trip on the Regal Empress from sunny Ft. LAUDERDALE, FL, to Nassau/Paradise Island in the tropical Bahamas. Your first time traveler introductory familiarization cruise includes a private stateroom, with all meals and entertainment included.

Congratulations XXXXX, your responsible financial history earned you this FREE "Fam Trip" Cruise!*

At first glance, I think this is a timeshare presentation, but if anyone else has had experience on this, I would love to hear about it.

I smell a rat, and a rather large one at that. This looks like suspiciously like something that I starting receiving around 4 or 5 years ago. I figured out just by looking at it that it was a scam. I did call out of curiousity once, and by the time they factored in all the "FEES", it was more expensive that what you could get at a travel agent. I remember that it was on the news about people getting taken in by it, and it ended up costing them 2 to 3 times more for the trip, than if they had gone to a travel agent. Apparently they are still running the scam, as you received it. Must be a profitable scheme if they are still doing it 5 years later. Be very aware before giving them any personal info. Yes. A scam indeed. Nothing is free or cheap (very rarely).

You are about the 100th person I have heard getting this. It is a scam. I have never even heard of that cruise line before......
