Anyone get their New York State taxes back yet?

Ours seems to be taking a long time, it has said we were in our final stages of processing for 2 and 1/2 weeks we efiled and it was accepted 2/22......anyone still waiting for theirs?

Yes, we are still waiting. Our accountant said about 3 weeks for federal and god knows when for state. I guess I am thinking it will come when we least expect it and will be a welcome surprise.

We got our federal the 9th.

We got our NY State refund last week (yes, live in CT, DH works in NYC), filed our taxes the first week of February (Feb. 4th? I went to the accountant). I was shocked that it came already. Last year it was late April/early May before we got our refund from NY (and filed mid-Feb).

Forgot to add that we filed mid February and got the federal back March 5. I went to the NYS website and it said to expect 4-6 weeks.

Yes, I received it on February 18th (all $17 of it). I filed my taxes before the end of January. Hope yours comes soon!

I don't live in NY anymore but my friend mentioned to me (she lives there still) that they are holding the NYS tax refunds for a while. Did that change?

We heard from our accountant that we should file our NYS immediately for fear that the knuckleheads in albany may claim bankruptcy with the budget wows that are looming

There was some talk of it but paterson never officially said this, although it seems they may be slowing the process just enough so they don't actually have to say they are doing it, but who knows!

I heard that they are holding them for 45 days. Hey, can I send my estimated quarterly taxes 45 days after the due date?

I just got mine.

I e-filed on Feb 10th. I got my federal refund a few weeks ago. I usually always get the NYS refund a few weeks after the federal.

We filed the beginning of February and they came 2 weeks after the federal (even though they said they would come the same day.)

I did hear on the news something about them holding them till April, but I can't be sure what was said since we have ours I din't pay too close attention.

I filed in February and have my NYS refund already deposited. (beginning of March) and it was a somewhat larger refund. No delay for me.

We were able to file ASAP and received both our Federal and State money on the very first dates that they became available (early February I think it was).

I had read that they were planning on holding them cause they weren't sure they were gonna have enough money to pay, but in the same article it said it wouldn't likely start until returns filed mid March.

Hoping it shows up soon...

We received your return and it's in the final stage of processing. While most returns are completed within 2 weeks, it may take up to 4 weeks.

THis is the exact same thing ours says! And looks like we filed around the same days. Good luck to you on yours hoping soon

Finally got a direct deposit date of April 1st, hopefully its not an Aprll Fool Joke, that would be my luck
