I tend to get a bad dream or two before my trips, about little things like can't find my room, or something stupid like that.
But this year, I am having really bad ones. Last night's was the worst! My daughter and I were in one of the parks and an anoucement came on telling eveyone to take cover b/c there are tornados coming! :earseek: :earseek: It was scary, there were tornados surround me and my daughter.

I know I am more scared about this upcoming trip, I have never been in Sept. and with all this talk about a huge hurricane season, it's got me scared. Just wish the dreams didn't have to be so bad. It's not helping LOL!!
The thing is I have 6 more weeks before we go! It would be nice to have GOOD dreams about my fav. place on earth! :cloud9:

Last week the mornings were beautiful. Rain usually came in the afternoon, around 3PM or later. With lots of thunder and lightning. So plan around that schedule, it should be similar in Sept.

Enjoy your trip.

I've had this dream twice that Dh makes us miss our flight! In the dream, I am freaking out and throwing things!
12 days to go for us and trust me-we arent missing our flight!

Me too. We also have a September trip. My dream is even worse than a Tornado. It involves our flight.

I know one thing, I will be a happy campy once we land!!

Just keep in mind that dreams are almost always about something else. It is your subconscious (sp?) way of dealing with stress in your life. The reason that your bad dreams are happening at Disney is probably because that's whats on your mind. (I know it's always on mine :earboy2: ) Don't worry....you'll have a wonderful trip. Here's some pixie dust for you. :wizard:

I tend to have bad dreams about one of our children getting really sick either right before or during the trip... Of course that actually DID happen before our last trip (we were at the ER 2 days before we left.. ugh) but we were still able to go since our then 2 yr old improved dramatically. But I was still glad we had trip insurance!

OMG! I thought I was the only one who had bad Disney dreams. Mine involve getting to the parks and there are only the shops, and I can't get to the rides, or whomever I'm travelling with does not want to get on anything. One dream even involved my friend passing out cold after getting off a ride!

I always have a dream or two beforehand that it's the last day & I realize I haven't done any attractions. I am devastated because there is hardly any time left to do anything. Same dream every year for the past 12 years......I'm used to it by now.
The past 2 years tho, I have a new one. The alarm doesn't go off for me to catch my flight out. That one leaves me unable to sleep.

oh don't worry dreams could be everything or it can't. i get bad dreams and good dreams right before my coming trip. mainly about the parks and flights. though the parks are the main. During the day think o positive thing about the parks like how much fun i am going to have, and i can't wait to go on this ride, i want this trip like the people in the vaca videos. dreams do reflect on how you think during the day. just keep a positive additude.

OMG, I have the exact same dream all of the time!! I even have the missing my plane dream too!

After my dream I'm so tried and frustrated. I, too, have had it for so many years, I've come to expect it. We visit WDW about 5 to 6 times a year, so it's a constant rerun for me.

I had at least three nightmares before our January trip. One was that we decided we couldn't wait for our trip dates so we went early, but when we got there we had no tickets, no money, nothing, because we didn't wait!

The second one was that I got on a bus to the parks but DS and DH were still inside the hotel. Well, the bus drove off without them and I didn't know where I was going or how to find DH and DS.

The third one was that we ended up at an offsite hotel and they put us in a room with all these really gaudy furnishings and they told us it was the Animal Kingdom Lodge. I knew they were lying, but for some reason we couldn't get a cab to come get us and take us to WDW. All the while I was freaking out because we were wasting time!

Several weeks ago I had another dream, I am assuming in preparation for our October trip. That one involved me standing on a sidewalk and all of the really RARE characters coming out, but I told them they had to wait for my DD to come out of the restroom. I don't HAVE a DD! They were all leaving and I didn't gt pictures because I was trying to wait for my (non-existant) child!

I'm not sure if there is much else that causes me so much stress that I dream about it over and over before it happens.

We all have so much in common...maybe the DIS Boards do this to us :rotfl2:
I have had several dreams over the years that usually start a couple of months before a trip to WDW. Like some previous posters I have dreamt that I spent the whole day at the park and never rode anything. I also have a dream where I am walking to a particular ride and can never find it. I walk and walk and walk for hours but end up at the spot that I started.
Two of my funniest and ones that probably make me a certifiable Disney nut :earseek:
1.) I am going to ride Splash Mountain (my fave) and realize that they have taken the log boats out of the ride and replaced them with inflatible rafts (like you would see in a swimming pool) :rotfl: I still decide to ride and after waiting for what feels like hours I get on and have trouble hanging on going down the drops :earseek:
2.) I am in the Haunted Mansion and they have replaced the Doom Buggies with regular chairs that have wheels on the bottom. The CM's basically just push you through the attraction. The attraction itself looks like a really weird version of the original.

I don't know why those particular dreams always come back...maybe I'm afraid of Disney downsizing :rotfl2:

This one made my day! It's soooo funny!
I have blocked most of my Disney nightmares from my memory, because when I wake up, I feel AWFUL!!!! But these are exactly the kinds that I have. The next time I have one, I'll be able to laugh, knowing that I'm not alone!!!

Last year I had a dream that I was at the airport, standing in line to check our luggage and get our boarding passes, when I realized my purse felt light. Then I looked in my purse and realized my wallet wasn't in there. That meant I didn't have any ID, so I wouldn't be able to get on the cruise ship (DCL).

Oh, wait, that really did happen.

Was Ei$ner in anybody's nightmare? Now THAT's something to be afraid of!

One of the nightmares on here almost happened for real to us. Our 3am alarm did not go off. I looked over at the clock at 3:45. This is approximately the time that our shuttle to the airport was due. I had no idea if we had missed them. I jumped out of bed yelling at husband and at that exact moment we heard a knock at the door. Thank goodness I had put all of the luggage at the door the night before. Hubby had them load the luggage while I frantically dressed. Whew, that was not fun. :earseek:

No nightmares, no dreams, no sleeping - just shingles and we leave in 9 days!

Oh, hun, thats awful!! :sad1: My brother had them a few years ago and was miserable. He's had a lot of health problems and dealt with chronic pain for many years now and says that shingles was the worst pain/experience of all. I hope you feel better and are able to enjoy your vacation!

Well it's happened again. Last night I had a dream that all of us woke up late, almost missing our breakfast reservation. For the whole dream, we were trying to get ready, and never could make it to the parks :(
