Anyone get code BAP at Pop?

Has anyone had any luck using BAP for deluxes? I called looking for WL, but they only had a suite. I was quoted the same rate with BAP as I have with BAT (for December).

I LOVE this board!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just modified my reservation for October 2 - October 5 at POP! For the 3 nights my reservation cost was $248 and now it's $184 (with all taxes) Saved $64.00!

Did you have the cm try individual days? Maybe there is a day or to making your ressie come up with no discount. If you haven't tried that, I would call back. If you can get it for some of your trip would be better than nothing.

I obviously have to much time on my hands. You definately need to call back. I just checked online and all of your dates are available except the 9th. The 8th was available and then the 10th through the 16th. You could use the discount on everything but the 9th. I don't know how much trouble that is, if you have to have 3 ressies and check in and out of rooms, I'm sure someone else here would know. Hope this works out for you. Let us know.

Over the yrs I've done that - made several res for the same stay, same resort to get the best rate, or even just to get the room- and I've never had to change rooms. I know there is no gurentee, but if you tell the CM when you check-in I think you'll be okay - esp since it is only one day!!

Has anyone done this and had to change rooms at the same resort?

I've had consecutive reservations many times because I could not get the code I wanted for all of the days I wanted. So, I just had them link my reservations. The only thing I had to do was get new room keysbut never change rooms. I really didn't mind getting new room keys because I paid off my room charges each time I got new keys and kept my spending in line ( I tend to go overboard when I am with Mickey!!!)

I'm going Oct 8 - 15th and I've got $74.00/night at POP. Were they offering the $55.00 at Music or nothing on those dates at all?
One other thing, do you have the 800 number handy because this is getting expensive?

I don't see that anyone has addressed this--

The BAP rates quoted at $55 is the STARTING rate for the reservations. It is NOT a better discount than the AP rate, but is the same rate as BAT which is not as good as the AP rate. For the regular season the BAP will not get you $55 for the value resorts.

I am not sure about this Sue Ellen. I got the $55 rate for 10/25 to 10/29. Isn't that during regular season? It was MUCH better than the AP rate for the same time. If the dates are in value season then I stand corrected but I thought they were regular season...

I will call again tomorrow to verify my dates again just to be sure...I hope the CM got my dates right.....

Sugarplumsmom, if you did get it in regular season congratulations. I checked pricing and was told it was the same discount as BAT/BAS.

If it is indeed lower than AP that's wonderful.

Yes, you can get the BAP code for the regular season. I also had an ~$74/nite rate at POP for my stay October 1-5 with the BAT code. This is regular season. I called and was able to apply the BAP code to my stay and am now paying $55.00 per nite.

~Keep trying to call and see if you can get your dates. I had to be VERY specific when I said the B A P code, because the CM thought that I said BAT and then we got it straight.

AP rates are not always the best available. I've been staying at Disney Resorts sicne 1981 and also worked for them for a time, still have friends in CR, GR, FD and a couple of resort managers.

I got a rate of $49 at the POP for October. $79 at POFQ, $109 (standard) at AKL, $139 (courtyard) at WL, $149 Cont Garden Wing (Tower was avail, forget the rate, but it was excellent) and $209 Poly, BC, YC or BWI. All rates were confirmed. Depends on availablility on travel dates and code used. I had 2 different pin codes to use with same rates. I was checking every other day and all rates were still avail with exception of BC and YC - uninterrupted. They told me dates were selling out fast, so I'd recommend having alternates dates ready to check.

...as you know, flexiblity, whenever possible, is the key to best rate available The last few yrs I have been extremely fortunate in finding the lowest rate out there for the dates I've wanted to travel.

Sometimes it is the dates you are looking for or sometimes the actual resort. Not all codes apply to all resorts. It could also be that one or more of your dates are no longer available. You may have to try night by night to see....does that make sense?

It appears from your counter that you are arriving right before me and I did get the code applied to my reservation so maybe it is the resort and the code doesn't apply there??? Just a thought.....

It does apply for the resort - just no rooms available at during that time. I need WL 10/22 - 10/25. Every time I call they have either the honeymoon suite of the AKL. Since we are staying 10 nights total (the rest is the DV 7/4 deal) I want to stay in the same hotel. I know lots of people like to change hotels during their stay but I am not one of them Too much of a hassle packing up and moving - especially with young ones.

Can't blame you for not wanting to move. I am not the moving type either and my daughter is 14 now. WL is very popular but you never know, somebody might cancel or something might open up.

I called to inquire about applying this to my Oct 29-31 reservation and was told that it is the same price as the BAS code I had applied earlier. The BAS code saved me $440 for the two nights!!

I was able to apply the code to our stay at the POP for Oct.1-6 and it was actually cheaper than my original FL Res. code. Went from $69 to $55. Thank-You for the head's up!!!
