Anyone get a general code for AKL for Oct?

A friend of mine has a package booked for AKL, Oct 4-8. She's called to see if she can get a general public code for her dates, but is getting all kinds of answers. Early this morning, she was told AKL wasn't available yet, keep calling back. Tonight she was told there were no codes. Then she asked about code ZBG--they then said, "oh you have a code, I'll check it".
She was told ZBG was not valid, ZBH was only good for online, ZBD was disney visa. ????? I've gotten these codes from posts in the large public code thread and under the Disney Discounts on the home page.

So, has anyone gotten a public code for AKL?? and what did you ask for? Thanks for any help/suggestions. I've told her to keep calling back.

Odd, those all sound accurate for the codes . . . has she tried doing it online?

I've tried to check online and all I can get is the rack rates.

I'm getting rates for Savanah and Savanah Deluxe rooms for those dates. If you have any other info (dining? parkhopper? How many people and ages?) I can at least get you a quote?

They already have a standard room booked for AKL, (4 nights, 3 day hoppers) arriving Oct 4, leaving Oct. 8---2 adults, 2 juniors, no dining. Their total right now is almost 1900.00.

She booked a couple of weeks ago, and we were just checking to see if the public code could help them out. Thanks for checking it out for us!!!

Okay: prices I got:

If the children are 2 and under: $1593.60 for a Savanah room for 4 nights, 3 days parkhoppers. $1886.08 for Deluxe Savanah room.

If the children are over 2 (I plugged in 3 and 8 for lack of anything else) - WOW, I just got kicked out of AKL! Hmmm . . . maybe only King beds are left? It recommended Old Key West and came up with a Deluxe Studio for $1926.48.

Took off Resort Flexibility and there we go . . . 2 adults, 2 kids over 2, 3 day parkhoppers: $1998.48 for Savanah Room, $2290.96 for a Deluxe Savanah room. so they could essentially go to a Savanah room for almost the same rate ats they are paying now, or move to a Studio at OKW.

Changing to reflect teens:

Deluxe savannah: $2,359.12
Regular Savannah: $2,066.64

OKW: still $1,994.64

Looks like they could get a nice studio upgrade at least if they were willing to switch . . . . .

They want to stay at AKL. Thanks for all your help!! I really appreciate it. They are really excited about AKL and said they are happy with what they have booked, but if a code came along, that would be great too! Every little bit makes a difference!

No problem. By all means tell them to keep checking, because the code is definitely working for AKL, it just looks like for now all the standards available for the code are booked. I'm betting a lot ofpeople upgrade to Savanah though so you never know when it might open up!
