Anyone get a discount getting many rooms

Has anyone been able to get a discount because they booked so many rooms for a family gathering?

I think you have to book at least 20 rooms for a discount.

We are also planning a large trip and have been told by Disney that we would need 10 rooms to get a group rate. Hope this helps.

Unless something has changed since I last booked an event there in 1999 you need to have a minimum of ten rooms at the same resort. Even then the discounts are usually not as good as a lot of the code rates and AP rates and such.

We had a group with ten rooms. They put us into the AKL at a rate that was only about $15 more per night than POFQ. We thought it was great. I am pretty sure that the minimum was 10 rooms as we ended up inviting some friends from church so that we could make the 10 rooms, 9 were family members and theirs. It was fun.
