Hello,
I live in Baton Rouge Louisiana and i was just wondering if there is anyone else on here that is from Louisiana as well????

I would like to know about how much would airline tickets cost for 2 adults a 2 girls ages 10 and 12?? Just tring to make plans.

:wave2: Hi, We live in NE Louisiana, near Monroe. Welcome to the DIS. There are nice people here who can help you with anything you need to know. Lots of times we learn things here that the CM's don't even know about.
DD and I usually fly out of Jackson, MS. on Southwest. We try for a Ding rate and usually get it. Last October we got great prices, $32.00 on the way there and $34.00 on the trip home. So far we haven't had a Ding for Spring Break but I went ahead and booked at around $200.00 each round-trip. If a good Ding comes along before April I will re-book and put the savings toward this October - MNSSHP is GREAT.
When are you going and where are you staying?
Don't be afraid to ask questions here. Someone will help you. :disrocks:

Hi there,

I just moved from the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain to Maryland, but I traveled from the New Orleans area to WDW many many times.

The best flights are on Southwest. You can go to their website and sign up for email deal alerts. They have two or three nonstops a day from New Orleans to Orlando.

If you decide to drive instead, it's about 10 hours from you to the Mouse.

Have fun!

Hi there I am from LA, right outside of Baton Rouge. We just got back from Disney in January, & I got flights on Southwest for $29 each way. That was flying out of New Orleans. For my family of four it cost us $299, roundtrip. I could not drive for that cheep, especially since I have a gas guzzling Expedition :goodvibes .

Hello, I am from a little town in Central Louisiana, Jena. This is a great place for information on WDW. We have been about 4 times in the last 5 years. Currently planning on going in Dec o6 for week before christmas. Sounds like there are some great deals to be had with southwest.

Another BR dis'er here! If you'll be going sometime in the future, remember that Delta now flies non-stop from BR to Orlando. Check their rates as soon as you have a date. Dh and I went earlier this month for ~ $172 a piece. I thought it was a pretty good price and I didn't want to drive it since we were only going for 3 days.

The drive isn't bad, just really long if you're not fond of driving/riding for that long.

We're in Mandeville, and we just got back from our Disney trip. We paid $29 going down and $80 coming back...so about $125 RT with taxes etc. That was from New Orleans on Southwest, direct flights. Keep an eye out for DING fares....you can't beat SW DING!!
