I have gained a ton of info from people on the DIS who are locals in the areas we are traveling to...
This time we are headed to the Denver area in the third week of May. DH and I are 40 somethings and we will have three college students with us..... one of which will still be under 21.
The only real MUST DO so far is the Rockies game. We are interested in athletics, mountains, good food (and lots of it), the original Chipotle, and possibly a tour of the brewery. I was looking at Elitch Gardens but we are all tall.... I know for sure DS#2 would not be able to ride several of the headliners because he is 6'7".
Does anyone have suggestions on where to stay to see/do the most... the most efficiently? We will have a car, and hope to get one Embassy Suites or Residence Inn type room where we can all stay together. I would love to hear suggestions on activities and places to go as well.
