Anyone for the Western cruise 4/9/05???

But what I'm wondering now is, 1) Do they really sign pillowcases for you? and 2) I won't have a kid with me, so does that matter?

Yes, they definately sign them for you, we are sending a 2 pillowcases down to be signed with several differenct colored markers (I hope they will use the different colors, I here sometimes they are all in one color anyway) And not having a kid with you dosent matter, Disney sees a kid in everyone

I have something to do every day between now and the cruise!Sun. Work 4-10 mon. 4-10 Tuesday pre=run a gym makeup, work 6-10 Wed. Run pre run gym makeup, and final minnute packing, thurs morning we fly out!!!!

I, unfortunatley don't have much to keep me busy until Friday! I work as an afterschool nanny so my job hours are just 3-7, and I have all morning/afternoon to sit around and be excited/anxious!

The only thing I have left to do is drop off extra keys with my friend who will be cat-sitting while we are gone. Oh and I have to buy sunscreen!!

I don't know how little kids can stand the wait! I'm 22 and going crazy! This is way more exciting than Christmas Eve!! <--I feel like that inside.

Ok, time to cook some early dinner! Eating keeps me busy...LOL!

Thanks for responding. We are packing Esmirelda(sp?), but not Jasmine, and that is a great idea with the pillowcase. Do the characters still sign the autograph books? We have ours from 1995 and 2001.

I called about Rum Point Beach Excursion, it is full.

This is it........ This is the last week before we cruise!! I told my DH he better start packing, since I am finished.

I find it really hard to believe that it is finally here. I have been looking forward to this for so long. I really want to rebook while on board, but don't know if I can talk dh into it!!

I do belive that they still sign autographs for everyone. I should probably ask my little brother b/c he went and saw almost all of the charecters last time.

Could you please tell me what POP Century is? I have not kept up with changes at Disney since we were there in May of 2001, and I don't remember anything by that name then.

Also, my son, Russell, was wondering about game links for Halo (?) on board. ( I also don't know much about video games)

I'm not Turk, but I can tell you that Pop Century is the newest Value Resort. We stayed there in June of '04. It was great!! We loved it. The transportation was better at PC than at the All Stars. The All Stars are set up for big groups, like bands, cheerleaders & other school groups. The PC was not set up for that. It is a great value resort to stay at.

No time for packing here!!! I am making the dd's clean their rooms really well today. That way they will be clean when we get home. We have so much planned for this week, there will be no time for them to mess it up!!

I have filled three large garbage bags from their rooms so far!!

AGGGGhHHH, I just jammed my printer trying to print our names onto the Mickey Heads. For future reference don't try this at home. The laser jet ink didn't stick to the paint chips anyway.

Where is a good place to get autograph books for my DD's?? Walmart or should I try the Disney store if I have time??

Also- What is everyone doing at Grand Cayman?? My mother just talked to the local store owner down the street. They just got back from this cruise last month and he said the place was in tough shape from the hurricane and to maybe stay on board that day. I was thinking there was a beach there that somebody just reported on that wasn't too bad. Anyway, I will go talk to him myself tomorrow.

So what's the whole deal with the Mickey Head paint chips?

Pam ran into Home Depot for me today, a few minutes before closing (we were out at dinner, and I mentioned that I heard something on these boards about them, and off she ran, lol) Anyways, she picked up Gamma Sector Green, Sonic Boom, and Alien Green. I was shocked to see that they are indeed, green Mickey Heads!

But now what? Do I just wave it when I see someone else with one? Lol...I'm probably too shy to even have it out, but we'll see...

I finished shopping today! And now my suitcase won't shut...I know I'm over packing, but this is my first cruise ever and I need to be fully prepared for every possible scenario!

Both dd's are complaining they don't feel good

I am trying to convince them that they are just nervous about taking their SAT's this week. If I hear one sniffle, cough or any more complaints we are going to the doctor. Too close to the cruise!!!!!

I feel so good. The girls and I managed to clean their rooms & the playroom. And we only filled four bags of garbage!!

I hate going on vacation and coming home to a dirty house.

I think I am going to bed early so I can get one more of my sleeps out of the way!!!!

I think between the four of us we will have five suitcases and my BIG bathroom essential bag. So, six for us!! The girls will each have a backpack to carry on, me too. DH said he is not carrying anything except for the video camera this time. He was my pack mule on our first trip!

Must go watch Desperate Housewives!

Well we started packing on Saturday...boy am I glad we started early. DS has grown at least 2 inches from last year...pants don't fit...sandles don't fit. We had them try on EVERYTHING.

We have already made two runs to Kohl's (a great department store) to stock up.

I've got about 10 loads of laundry to do today. Hope to finish packing by tomorrow.

We decided last minute to book the REAS package. Amazing...I called the travel agent at 8:30 and by 9:30 I was talking to Debbie at Disney about the details!

I checked weather for Port Canaveral on Saturday...high 75. Hopefully it will be won't be too chilly with the wind blowing. Key West looks like low 80's, Grand Cayman scattered showers, low 80's.
