Anyone for the Western cruise 4/9/05???

Hope- You said you won't walk KW again, was it too much walking? Just wondering, because I thought that we would just explore on our own. I would be interested in what you find out about the trolley on your own. Keep us posted.
Thanks!
Mary

--Enjoy your company tomorrow :D You're probably right about cleaning before hand, especially with so many kids coming!!

We went on October of 2003. It was hot. My dh can't stand hot ( & we live in Alabama)! So he was dripping with sweat by the time we reached Jimmy Buffets place. Also, he has fallen arches so his feet hurt really bad. I enjoy the walk, if I had know where I was going

But this time for my dh's sake, we will ride through town www.historictours.com has a web site about the tours.

Hope this helps

Hope :flower1:

Southwest finally released their dates for the rest of April, but unfortunately we will be flying out of LAX instead of Ontario. The fares were so much cheaper out of LAX. We will be arriving late so we'll be staying at the Airport Hyatt and will probably rent a car and drive to the port in the morning.

Haven't been here lately. Had a very rough week. I lost my Dad last Monday. Now I am scrambing to get a bigger room to take my Mom. I don't know whether she will want to go but I want to ask. She has never been on a cruise before.
I love seeing all those new members joining us. Really looking forward to April now. :D

I am so sorry to hear about your dad :grouphug:

Our thoughts and prayers are with you!

Hope

Kate, I am so very sorry to hear about your Dad. It is never the right time to lose a parent, but I know it must be harder when the holidays are around.

Prayers and thoughts with you and your family -

Karen

Thank you for your prayers. I spoke to my travel agent today and she put us on a quad room wait list if my Mother decides to go. I am sure she would enjoy it.

Does anyone have any excursion suggestions for this cruise? We didn't do any on the Eastern because we felt the kids were too young.

:flower1: Keep counting those days!

Sorryto learn about your loss. I hope it works out for you to be able to bring your mom.

HI everyone  We have been really quiet lately. I guess everyone is Christmas shopping!

I am done shopping, now I just need to wrap everything.

It is almost 2005. I really hate to rush the year away. Our cruise will be here and gone too fast! I know that will be our last DC for awhile so I really don't want to rush it. It is hard to justify a cruise that costs as much as a good used car

But, it will be well worth it :cloud9:

I hope everyone is having a good weekend! Be safe over the holidays.

Hope

Called yesterday for our flight. We will be flying in day before and staying at Sheraton near the airport. I figured flying and going right to ship in one day will be too much for the little ones. They will be happy staying in the hotel with the pool for one night before shuttling to the Magic. Oh I love dreaming about our trip!!!

With all the hustle and bustle of the hoidays, I forgot about airline tickets!!!

Need to start looking into that!

Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!!!!!!

Karen

Christmas is over........It is almost double digit time for us :Pinkbounc :cool1:

I can't wait. Is anyone going to pre book their excursions at the 90 day mark?? I think I will book the banana boat ride at CC. Not sure about the rest yet.

Hope everyone has a safe New Years!!

Hope :flower1:

Getting closer! Yesterday I got my flight tickets and last week we booked our hotel stay the night before.
Oh this cold weather is making me crazy. It was in the single digits last night!!!

Sounds like we may stay on the boat in Key West? Not much to do with little ones?? I'll keep researching.

By the way, we have 2 groups posting to the Cruise Meets forum!!

HI!! Check out my countdown clock!! Double Digits, here we come!

I am still trying to decide what excursions we will be taking. I do want to pre-book them ASAP so I can quit thinking about them :)

Hope every one has a great new years. Be careful on the roads!!

Hope :flower1:

:badpc: AOL keeps kicking me off. MY DH, adult DD, DGD 6 and I will be cruising with a group of 15 friends & family. 4 generations. We are so excited.

Welcome Aboard!!

Did anyone read the thread about when Spring Break is?? It sounds like our week is not the normal spring break. My dd's will be on spring break that week.

We are into double digits today!!!!

Have a good day!! :thewave: :jumping1:

Silly me!! I didn't notice this thread and posted to hopelea's (I was wondering where everyone went :flower: ). Good thing my sister (ltviolets) set me straight. :flower1:

This is our second DCL cruise. I have two connecting cat 9's. It will be DH, DDs (16, 14, 9) and my mom. We are flying in the morning before and we have rooms at the Radisson.

We really enjoyed snorkeling on our last cruise and we would like to do that again. Also, we are interested in Stingray City. I have tried to get the family to help decide what excursions we are going to do. I like their input but it can be like pulling teeth at times.

Kate: I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad. We lost my Dad 16 years ago today. I really hope your mom decides to go. I enjoy it when my mom travels with us. Everytime she says this is the last trip but I have the grandkids work their magic on her. It has worked everytime so far. I hope you get that quad room. :D

Happy New Years to all!!!

Karen

Has anyone else been reading the threads about Paradise Beach?? It sounds really nice. I am thinking that we may try to go there while in Cozumel. We did the beach break excursion through DCL last time. The girls really enjoyed going to the beach. I think I will like it better because we can come and go as we please. It says there are taxi's waiting to take you back to the port.

Is anyone else going to book their excursions at the 90 day mark? I am booking two, I think.......

Nothing in KW, Grand Cayman, I thought about the Shipwreck & Snorkel, Cozumel we will do Paradise Beach on our own, (if I don't chicken out). The girls want to take a banana boat ride at CC.

Hope everyone had a safe new years eve! Happy New Year. It is almost our time!!

DO YOU REALIZE THAT THERE ARE ONLY 14 MORE CRUISES AND IT IS OUR TURN?? :cloud9:

I am planning on booking excursions on my own. Key West-- just walk around on our own or use the Trolley/Train if necessary. Cozumel-- Dolphins for DH and DD6 and watching for the baby and me, so we'll take a taxi and book directly. GC-- Stingray City/Snorkel not sure who I will book through, still researching.

Happy New Year!
Mary
