Anyone for Golf on November 11

We have a trip planned for November and DH would like to play golf with someone. He has the DVC golf membership so could get a discount. He is open to any of the courses if you have a preference. We will be staying at BCV and he would like to play early on the 11th of November. If anyone is interested please let me know. I will booking a tee time next month.

Don't wait to long to book tee times, as there will only be 2 courses available due to the Childrens Miracle Network tournament will be going on that week so only LBV and Osprey Ridge will be available.

Sorry I can't join you as I'll be there the week after you.

We conclude a trip on Nov. 11th (check out), and are driving home to PA, so I can't quite squeeze it in. I'd have played although my game's a bit rusty. Just began playing again after a 25 year hiatus

That's a coincidence. We will be traveling with a couple from Hershey. We are cruising and then coming to WDW but they are only staying 2 days and leaving on the 9th. My DH is by no means an expert golfer (he has only been playing a few yrs) I have the week so filled with plans that this is the only available time for him to play. It is his 50th birthday celebration so he really wants to play some golf. I hope we can find someone available. Thanks!

I'm sure Oak Trail will not be available as it is located amonst the Magnolia holes.
Just make sure you book at exactly 90 days out if he wants to play at 10am or later to get the best rate.

He can still play golf even without others, they just partner you up with people you don't know. My DH played 2 rounds of golf last month (one at Magnolia & one at LBV--he actually liked LBV better). He was paired up with other golfers. The first day, of the other three golfers he got paired with, he didn't care for 2 of them but he really hit it off with one of them. So much so that he played again with him the next morning. Plus, he liked the other 2 golfers they got paired up with that round. He really enjoyed it and is totally looking forward to more golf next trip.

We will be there & dh (49) & ds(19) are looking to play. I'll tell my dh to log in to this post when he gets home from work. In teh meantime you can ask your dh if he would be against a round with a 19yr included. My ds is very respectful of golf etiquette, but dh & ds are by no means expert golfers. They usually only play a few times a year.

dh is going to log on later this week, but says he was really only planning on doing 9 holes. I imagine your dh is looking for 18...especially on his big bday! We would certainly understand that. Just let us know. DH is MarkeyMouse on the boards.

You are from Hershey??? We are from Etown and will be there the 9th-19th of November!! My hubby wants to golf but I think that the day that he has been cleared to golf is the 13th I need to check my passporter and see if the 11th would work! It would be fun it he could golf especially with someone from the area

No we are traveling with a couple from Hershey. We are from VA. They will be leaving on the 9th but we are staying til the 13th. I have found 2 people to play golf with DH on the 11th but your DH could make it a foursome if he is interested.
