Anyone for Dec 2008???

Made my reservations yesterday

Now I am second guessing taking DS out of school. We did it in kindergarten and I always said I would do it until 4th grade if needed. We picked a great week but those second thoughts!!!

I am starting to look at places for ADRs so when the 180 day hits I am ready!

I'll be there with DH, DS & my mom from Dec 7-13. So excited for DS (5) to experience the magic - especially during the holidays!

Count me in for Dec 7-13 at AKL, we're going for our 10th anniversary and son's 5th birthday, haven't been since our honeymoon. Can't wait, don't plan on telling son until just before or as we're getting on the plane. We also convinced our friends and their 2 kids to go with us. Got 40% off on both room by calling the reservation line every few days.

I just kept on calling and finally got a helpful cm that "found" us the code. Now I had ordered the disney vaction dvd, but had not received it at the time, once I received it there was no code on mine as some people have gotten. I also have the Disney VISA, but don't use it much and have not reveived any discound code with it either. I put this in here because people try to figure out how to get the code and I really feel that I had nothing and just got luck with a cm that was willing to get us a code. I called the 877 number but its at home, its on the board in a few places. Don't think it really matters what number you call, I just didn't want to pay for the call.

Just keep calling, I did and the last time explain why we were taking the trip and that we haven't been since our honeymoon, not really a sob story but thought it might help and I think it did. Good luck.

Booked AKL for Dec 7-14. It's our first time going deluxe; have done moderate the last two trips. And it's our first time going when all the Christmas decorations will be out. Can't wait to see everything!!

Wish I could have made it an extra day and included the 6th but the 40% off code doesn't start until the 7th so we have to make due with leaving bright and early and hopefully driving until we make it to just outside the parks. That way we can get to the resort first thing Sunday morning and get right on the bus for a full day at wherever we choose.

Just booked for WL for December 31-Jan 12. Orginally we were going to stay at AKL and booked for DH DS5 and my self. I offered to take DS 18 but he said no. but today DS 18 decided he wanted to go as his christmas present so I switched today. Oh well I "sacrificed" my savanah view room at AKL to a standard at WL BUT I get to spend 12 days with my my whole family. that is the best part of Christmas.

I am booking this week for Dec 11th through the 15th at POP. Last year was the first trip for my DD and DS. They have elected to give up Christmas and Birthdays to go to WDW this year instead of waiting another year! Pretty good for a 8yo and a 6yo!
