I know that this is sooooo early to think about but is there anyone out there planning to visit WDW in early Dec. 2008????? I have the disney fever and I can't wait to plan. :cool1:

I know what you mean. So far I have no plans for a Dec.2008 trip. I've actually never been to WDW. Disneyland many times and I will be going there next July. :goodvibes

We hope to do Disney in December SOMEDAY!!!! Dh cant take off from Nov 1-Dec 15 and I cant take off Dec 15- Jan 1:( It really stinks, I WANT TO SEE DISNEY AT CHRISTMAS TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We wanted to go Dec '07 but it looks like Dec '08 is going to work out better.

I'll plan with you if you want. I can't wait until I can take the kids again. Maybe, I'll get a YoaMD wish and can take them sooner.

mousehouselover I would love to plan with someone. Great to have someone to bounce ideas off of. I do know that I want to stay at the poly and go to the Hoop Dee Doo for a dinner. and I'm patiently waiting to be able to at lease book my room!!!

We're planning for Jan '08 for her first trip to WDW. People here thought I was crazy for starting to plan this far out, I can just imagine their reaction to your plans. lol

I'm just bummed I can't really plan anything until closer to March and even then I won't be able to get all excited about it since it will be a surpurse for my DD. I can just see her opening that gift up on Christmas next year. :Pinkbounc

I'm undecided on where wer're staying. Since I'm a huge go, go, go person on vacation, we won't be staying in our room much. I saw somewhere that the family suites @ ASMu are bigger than some of the rooms at the mod resorts so we may go with that. We also have the option of staying @ Shades of Green which is a converted deluxe resort so I'm really going to have to crunch some numbers and look at the offers for that time of year before we decide. I have to find info on the MYW package and see if I can do it through SoG before I can say for sure.

As far as meals, that's up n the air until we decide on a package. DH got us a MYW Prem for oour trip next month but when we looked at the pricing for a family of 5 it was almost double the cost of MYW with standard dining. I can do cheap breakfasts, it's lunch and dinner that kills me some days.

Dh and I are doing a lot of things we haven't done before so I'm sure the stuff we like will be added to our must do list for 2008. I said something @ work about going in 2008 and they all started laughing. I haven't even gone on my upcoming trp and I'm planning the next one already..... I think it's a disease; but if it is, I don't want to be cured.

We're planning April/May of 2008! You're the 1st post I've seen who stated 2008 in the title, so I got excited. Sorry to highjack since we're not going in December, but who knows. Anything is possible with the magic.:cool1:

We are planning our 07 trip for September BUT our 08 trip will be end of Nov beginning of Dec! I love the holidays at Disney! It is NEVER to early to start planning!:goodvibes

I know our TA will get them before we do but I think Disney quotes at least 18mos out.We looked at the '07 rates to get an idea of what it will be.

Yes! December 08 for us. Wilderness Lodge...I think. Good thing I still have a couple of days to decide!:rotfl2:

Just a couple ya think??!?!?! :lmao:

Still no solid plans other than we are doing DDP, prob premium even though it doubles our rates. We had a fantastic time with it and no dinnig worries, so DH is pretty sold on doing it again, even with kids.

We are planning for Dec 08. We are thinking about either Ft. Wilderness cabins or ASMU family suites. Possibly two rooms @ POP....

I don't know 13 months is really close, not much time to decide. :lmao: :rotfl2:

We had planned on Sept/Oct 2008, but I changed it to Christmas 2008. It will be our first Christmas with the mouse. I told my DH I wanted to change the trip, and he said I couldn't b/c it was the DS's trip too, and I couldn't make a change like that without him. So, I brought them into the room, we had a family vote, and DH was out voted. I have most of our trip planned already. We are staying at the WL for 8 days the week of Christmas and want a woods view room with bunk beds. We are getting the Deluxe Dining Plan and have picked all the places we want to eat at. Now I just have to plan all the Christmas activities that we are going to do. Also, I have talked my DH into getting a Christmas tree from Disney Florist.

Since we made the change, I have spent at least an hour each night looking at Disney message boards looking for information on Christmas time at WDW. My DH thinks I am crazy for putting so much time planning a trip that is over a year away. Part of it may be that when I see pictures or video of WDW at Christmas time it makes me cry. This is more than likely the only time we will go at Christmas, and I want to make it as magical as humanly possible.

After I used a ton of ink making the over 400 page planning guide for our October 2006 trip that was based on our specific family trip, I promised my DH I would never do it again. Since we've never been at Christmas time, I'll have to make another one. Oh well, promises are made to be broken, right?:lmao:

I am doing the exact same thing as far as planning is concerned. It will be the 2 mom/daughter trip, the first was Nov. 2006, but this trip falls on my moms birthday. :bday:

We, too, are doing the Deluxe Dining Plan :woohoo: , so I have ferociously been deciding which Signatures Dinners we will be doing, plus some breakfasts and lunches.

We were going to stay at YC, but after talking we agreed it would be just as fun, and more cost effective, to stay at POFQ, which I adore anyways. Plus with the extra money we save, we can splurge a little, from me planning a couple surprises for her birthday pixiedust: as well as getting the exact flights we want. Last year our flight home was the first of the day, because it was so cheap, and we both agreed that this time we will leave whenever we want.

Now if only it wasnt so darn far away. Oh well, more planning to do!!!:cool1:
