Anyone fly Delta via Atlanta lately?

I've asked this on the transportation board, but I know there isn't much traffic over there.

I'm thinking about flying to Orlando via Atlanta with Delta since I can get okay times and an okay price.

Has anyone flown Delta via Atlanta lately? How is the airport in the morning?

No idea, but we are flying from Philadelphia through Atlanta to Orlando in 3 weeks. We got a great price and since we live between Newark and Philadelphia, the driving distance wasn't any different. I'll let you know when we get back

We flew Denver to Atlanta to Orlando in mid-July. The airport was crowded but no worse than Denver. We had to go from Concourse A to Concourse T (next one over) and use the train to switch concourses. I panic about missing my connecting flight and we got to the gate for the Orlando flight without any problem and with more than enough time.

Going back we were supposed to switch in Atlanta again but our flight was delayed in Orlando so Delta rerouted us thru Dallas to Denver and all was just fine

I flew through Atlanta about two weeks ago, and it's the same as always...very crowded. Luckily both my flights were in the same terminal, just be sure you know which gate/terminal your connection is in if you have to deal with their subway system.
