Anyone flown on USA3000?

Called them again today and they have 18 seats left on the flight down, those have increased since 10/28. The return flight now only has 24 seats left as of today, that one went down by 58 seats. I think they are pulling my leg, I can't see that many selling since 10/28. Still keeping my fingers crossed that both of our flights take off!

I hope it all works out for you KUTCHYONE. Our 12/5 flight was cancelled on 11/9, so just under 30 days. Thank goodness Jet Blue had an amazing deal for a replacement.

In the future I will not use USA3000 just because I don't like the stress of wondering will it or won't it take off, and will I have to scramble for last minute airfare.

Keep us posted and best of luck!!!

Thanks for you well wishes. We don't have the option of a Jet Blue type carrier out of Cleveland. I could fly AirTran out of Akron but the cost for some reason was astronomical for our dates. The closest is Southwest and those keep going up and up too as they are selling seats. If they are going to cancel our flights I sure hope that they will do it sooner than later.

All airlines cancel flights.

I have been canceled by Continental, American, SWA, Airtran and USAir.

They can either refund me my money or place me on another carrier/flight within the same day. It's happen to me before.

And there is your problem. They don't have near the same requirements as other airlines. So unlike CO, AA they have no interline agreements. For example, if DL cancels a flight due to a mechanical issue they have agreements to write you over to the other majors. If this airline cancels the ONLY thing they have to do is give you your money back...

Based on what I have read on these boards I would stay far away from charter airlines. In the past year there have been at least two just up and quit flying with no warning. (Transmeridian and Southeastern)

Anyone on the cancelled flights actually receive a refund yet? I've been waiting 2 weeks and today they told me 6-8. I'm so upset right now that I didn't listen to my initial instinct not to book with them!!

Totally correct. There is a reason Charters are so cheap...

Anything new out there? My flights are 1-25 & 2-1 out of Cleveland.

Ugh.

I am trying very hard not to dislike USA 3000, but it's not easy.

They canceled my flight in early September for an April 2006 flight. Okay.

I called AMEX to advise them of the disputed charge. 90 days later, AMEX cannot get the charge off my account because USA 3000 hasn't responded.

We called USA3000 and they said that after they cancel a flight, unless we call to ask them to take off the charge, they won't (????).

What type of policy is this?

So, now we wait another 2-4 weeks to see if they are true to their own policy.

Hmmmm, is that good business practices.....?

Not Acceptible.

Send a registered letter to the "Head Quarters" and demand a refund, or you will seek "legal representation"....

I feel your pain. After 2 calls to USA3000 we did receive our refund for the tickets. It went into our account the second day we were in Orlando - thank goodness because it went fast.

Just keep on calling. When they process the refund they will be able to give you a confirmation code. Once I got the code the refund went through about 4 days later.

Keep us posted and good luck.

Have been monotoring my two flights since early December and none have been cancelled. They tend to depart late but always arrive early except on once occasion when when the flight left 1 hour and 15 minutes lates and it arrived 49 minutes late. And all have remained a direct flight. Keeping our fingers crossed through February.

I feel bad. I want to trust them, but my only experience was a poor one, so it is tough.

I hope everyone flying USA3000 has a great and safe flight! :teeth:

My flight from Orlando to Cleveland on February 20th is now listed as sold out so I'm feeling even better about my choice! As I said only one late arrival time, no cancellations and they all stayed direct flights. YAHOO and nock on wood!

Airfare for April is about $200 rt/non-stop to MCO. That's quite a price considering that right now, airfare is about $469-$760 pp/rt on USAir, Delta, Song, JetBlue, American, etc.

My dad works for them as a Lead Flight Attendant. The service is very good, however, flights are limited. By that I mean they do not fly daily, I believe it is 4x a week (at least from Phila.). We are flying them in June and we are leaving and returning on a Wed. I won't even tell you what my family of 4 is able to fly for thanks to dear old dad, :goodvibes :goodvibes

Hhmm, you have me thinking. My sister was told that only I could get a discounted rate not my DH or kids. I may have to have her ask again about the rules. She almost ended up in Phila when they did the layoffs a couple months back.

My dad has to fly with us in order for us to get the rate. The 4 of us are flying for under $300 round trip
