I really want to book JetBlue from Newark but i am wondering if anyone here can answere a ? for me.I went to SeatGuru to look at seating charts for my 2 choices, JetBlue and continental. All of the continental flights have a 3 and 3 seating combination. Some of JetBlue's planes have a 2 and 2 which would be great for my family, as we have 4 - one row on either side of the aisle without sitting next to a stranger.
Could anyone whos flown Jet Blue recently tell me if its the 2 and 2 or the 3 and 3 pattern? I'm looking for an early flight if that makes a difference.

The flights we have had on Jet Blue to and from Newark were 3 and 3. When you purchase your flight online you will see the layout of the plane when you select your seats.

JetBlue used to only fly Airbus A320 aircraft in a 3 & 3 configuration. They have recently begun to take delivery of new Embraer 190 aircraft. These aircraft are a bit smaller and have a 2 & 2 configuration. When I flew JetBlue in October from Newark to Orlando, it was on an A320 (3 & 3 config), but that was before they had started to receive the Embraer. You may want to give them a call to see which aircraft they plan to use since they don't seem to display it on their website. Also, AFTER you pay for your ticket, you are able to select you seats and you'll definitely be able to tell which aircraft they're planning to fly.

You can see more about their planes at:

Hope this helps!
