What a GREAT thread!!!

DH and I have this routine when we get to feeling sorry for ourselves... We moan and groan for about 10 mins. and then we realize that we have health, wealth ( most Americans do VS the rest of the world ....) and children who are happy and safe! It is just really hard not to feel blessed!

We also have the blessing of choice (alot of people in the world have so few choices...) I choose to be happy. I choose to be positive. And, IF I can't find those choices in a certain situation........ I choose to lock myself in the bathroom with a hot bubblebath, a box of chocolates and a good book or movie!!! From there I can usually find my way to positive and happy!!!


I am dying to know what got deleted and what it was that got all yall so riled up....... But suffice to say that it sounds like someone needs a bubblebath and a BIG BOX of chocolates!!!

I think the blessed one here is Annie!!! You remind me of my Mom--- she had a big heart and an open wallet when it came to her pets too!! And by "her pets" I mean any little orphan she found.......
One of her last pups she found on the side of the road with her head literally stuck in a McDonald's bag. Poor thing was only a few months old and half starved! Mom nursed her back to health and she became her favorite pups........ although she never lost her craving for the McD's burger and fries......

I read this post at work today I can't respond during work hours but at least I can keep up with everything.
I read veranda man's post about the tape. I agree so much, I get teary looking at my scrap book from my first Disney cruise on March 8th.
I feel very blessed to have discovered this board and have received affirmation that I am not the only person who love's all things Disney. Contrary to my father's belief but he needs a big batch of pixie dust and that may not even help him. (hahaha)
I feel blessed that I have been able to make a big decision and pick up and move to Florida, where I have wanted to move to since May of 2001, right after I found out my job was being eliminated.
I truly have lots of things I feel blessed for and thank Jeanne so much for making me think of them and remember them. And I thank all of you for the wonderful stories and bringing back good memories.

OHHHHHHHHH, everytime I see a cute little kid, I think, "Maybe just one more...." Thankfully these have parents because I'm getting too old to adopt any more little ones, but girl, these children are precious!!!! Lisa, how did you do it?! (Ohhh, I know - the old fashioned way!!!) Lisa, you certainly don't want to be between me and that old man Andy (verandahman) when we get to our shrimp!! It won't be a pretty sight. Thankfully, Hazel and Tom (our spouses) keep us in line (most of the time)!

Now Rae, if you ever need to have a kiddie fix...well let's just say that most days around 2 pm anyone would be welcome to come by and have the kids for 5 minutes...if you last that long. LOL! Kailtyn cried inbetween her solo pictures so I don't know how we managed to get her to smile or have her red face clear up. Also, when I was ordering, they were both running out of the studio into Sears. Good thing I got some good pics of them first!!!

Great thread and posts. I especially feel blessed as this is Good Friday, and if its Friday, Sunday's coming. Easter and the resurrection is a great blessings.

I'm also so blessed to be going on my second DC. This time with my mother-in-Law. I have the best motherinlaw in the world.

Yes, I feel I am "over the top" blessed for many reasons.

Please take a moment this weekend to remember a sweet man who died last week taking his family on a Easter vacation. He passed away leaving a loving family.

His family really needs your prayers!
