I was wondering if its ok to take in your checked baggage on the plane. Thanks:goodvibes

I don't see why not. I would probably pack them in double zip lock bags just in case. Then you can reuse the zip lock bags if you happen to buy snacks that you want to keep fresh after opening.
I am a laundry sample queen and save all my laundry samples I get to use during our disney trip and I double bag them in zip locks and have not had any issues.

or better yet wrap them first with some bubble wrap before putting them in the zip lock bags. Save the bubble wrap to wrap anything you buy and need to keep safe on your trip home..

Cool, thanks!!! I thought I would put them in a small butter tub or something that I could throw out. That way they would have more stability around them for possible squashing LOL

I was so happy to find these at Bed Bath & Beyond for $1.99! Can't beat that for 15 loads of laundry.

They are pre-measured laundry detergent packs. Here is the BB&B link. You can get them cheaper in the store though

Dropps

Never heard of them-sounds good though-can you use them in your carry-on?
I know a few years back they had this powder detergent in discs you just drop them in the washer can't remember the brand or find anything like that now. But this stuff....????:confused3 MAYBE...

Wal Mart carries them; both the regular and the fragrance-free ones for $1.60. I took them down in my luggage (no problems in the ziploc container they come in and inside another ziploc baggie). I used them during my trip and left them in my OL for next time. They worked great! Clothes were clean and fresh.

EDITED to add: I doubt that you could bring them in your carryon. I think the current regulations is that they have to be able to identify each item in your quart baggie...and the Dropps don't have markings on them. They just look like little blisters of blue goo. Sorry

But....
They also sell empty 3 oz containers & I have used them for my shampoo & conditioner-and body spray that I can put into a small spray bottle. I was thinking of just filling one of those w/ laundry detergent to begin with. Anyone know if this is possible???? Thanks.
