Anyone familiar with Barcelona Hotels

I know Barcelona is not in the UK, but traveling from the UK & the entire region to Spain is common. I posted the below on the Cruise Board without success. I am hoping someone here may have stayed at either hotel.

Barcelona Hotel Breakfast ?

Pre and post DCL Med cruise, I will be saying in Barcelona. I will be staying in part at Hotel Atenea Mar and part at AC Barcelona. I am asking anyone with firsthand knowledge, if they can answer a few questions for me. Due to a medical concerns, I need to have a breakfast with proteins in order to keep my sugar in control. Does anyone know:

• Do either or both hotels include breakfast in the room cost? If not, do you know what the charge was to add it? I know in some parts of Europe breakfast can add considerable cost.
• Do included breakfasts contain some protein items? I need to have high protein low carb to keep in check. I can do a continental breakfast if I can balance it something as simple as a hard boiled egg.
• Do you have experience with room service at either location, if so can you share your experiences.
• Does the free mini bar at AC Barcelona have water or diet sodas?
