i have been having tons of problems with pe5..well actually the same problem tons of times is more accurate..( edit something and when go to save it it won't save, freezes, says disk is full, etc, different excuses but the same basic problem, i can't use pe5 to save edited pics back to the organizer)
i've been working on it with adobe, went through all the things they said to do to solve the problem and finally uninstalled and reinstalled( first couple times was able to just restore the catalog and it would work for a few days, last time i couldn't even get to the catalog to restore it). in the email i sent to them i mentioned this is obviously some kind of bug in the program..imo the fact they have a page about how to fix it on their support page should give them that hint but i have also found a number of forums, including adobe's where people are having the same general problem. when i told them this in my email they said they couldn't find any such threads...so i emailed them back links to the 3 most recent...the guy said they were not the same problem( uh yeah they were, after editing their computers crashed when they tried to save it) so i figure they are no help
so my question is...is this normal for adobe tech support?ie deny deny deny? should i just close this case out and next time open another one and hope for a support person who has a clue? or do they keep some kind of record and i'll just get the same garbage. wish i could say i think the problem is fixed but i have my doubts especially since i've read others who have reinstalled a number of times. i wonder if it is a download problem or something and now wish i had gotten the actual disk software from somewhere instead of from the adobe site
