Anyone experience last appts of the day at BBB?

I know ideally it's better to book reservations for Bippity Boppity Boutique as early in the day as possible so there's less risk of appts being delayed from other appts running over, and so that your princess has the value of having as much "time" to sport her make up and 'do for as long as possible.

Does anyone have experience with booking one of the last appts of the day? Like around 5-5:30ish since BBB closes at 7? We are planning to go in early August with our 7 and 9 yr old DDs and this will be their 1st trip to WDW. We want to make the trip to BBB to have it "one and done" before the girls age out as we don't think we will return to WDW before our oldest DD's 12. We have ADR at CRT at 8:30pm and think it would be perfect to pair a visit to BBB beforehand. We will be park hopping from DHS earlier that day so I was thinking of booking a 5:30ish appt. I am realistic in knowing it will be very hot and humid in August, so I'm not wanting to get their makeovers done too much earlier in the day because I can only imagine how much of it melts off. We do think it will be worth it for the experience and we are totally fine with the hair and make up being *done* by the next morning.

If you had one of the last appts of the day at BBB, do you mind sharing your experience? More chaotic/busy, less busy, etc.? There is wide availability all afternoon after 2:30pm on the day we intend to go. TIA!

We haven't done BBB, but I would attempt to get as early as possible to get your money's worth. The hairstyle will last for days after (they tell you to wrap it in toilet paper at night), but we have one planned for late morning so my daughter and the other little girl traveling with us will be a princess in the park for that day before we go eat at 1900 that night.

Hi!
I think your plan is perfect. We always do the BBB late in the day and then follow with a princess dinner. Our August trip last year we had 5:10 appointments and a 9:00 p.m. Dinner at CRT. Both my girls were taken within 15 minutes of us checking in and we did pictures at the shop across the way, I think it's called castle couture, did some rides and headed to dinner. The timing was perfect. For my family, early BBB appointments would not make sense as we always spend time at the resort pool before heading to the parks for the evening. For our upcoming August trip we have a similar plan, but dinner is not so late this time! Your girls are going to have a blast!

The first year DD did BBB, herappointment was at 6:30pm, with a CRT ADR at 8:40pm. I thought it was perfect. She didn't have time to mess anything up before dinner, and I don't think she would have wanted to keep the hair in all day as it was pretty tight and itchy. They were running pretty behind, I think it was around 7pm when they called her back. She was the last one to finish so we had the place to ourselves for the last few minutes. One of the CMs joked that they were going to give her the "real Cinderella treatment" and make her stay to clean the floors, lol!

We always book morning, but this year I booked 5:00 pm. Last time, it got hot and they changed out of their costumes mid day. The costumes are cute but they can get hot and itchy. Definitely follow with a princess dinner and it will be perfect!

I called at 6am the morning of my 180 day mark and the earliest appt they had was 5:20. If you want an earlier appt I suggest booking a throw away room so you can book at 180+10 days and then cancel the room.
